The quality of the food was decent. Our initial server was an asian girl and she was really rude without providing a good service but as soon as our server changed to Shy we were very happy with her. She had lots of spirit even at the end of the night and she provided an exceptional service.

Our Local spot. The vibe is lively. The food is consistently delicious. Whether Hubby and I are without kids around or taking the whole family with us, Local will always be our go-to.

Came here for lunch today and sat on the patio. The service was great, and the kitchen was more than accommodating. I look forward to coming back! We ordered the beef tacos, blackened chicken & Brooklyn burger. I highly recommend.

First time visiting LOCAL Leaside, and will absolutely be coming back. Relaxed, yet buzzing vibe - perfect for groups or a date night. Great menu with fresh, flavourful ingredients, and exceptional service by Hannah. She was super friendly and attentive, and made sure everything was right to order. Make sure to ask for her when you visit! 10/10 recommend.

The food was good, drinks were made well and pricing is about what you can expect to pay at similar establishments, ordered cocktails because beer prices seemed a little high relative to elsewhere. The service started off pretty good, inside was slow only 2/3 tables and we sat on the patio which was about 1/2-3/4 full. Server came over quick and took our drink order as we looked over the food menu, which we decided on a few minutes later. It took a little bit for the drinks to come out but we don’t know if that is because the server didn’t bring them or because the bartender had not made them yet, not a big deal. After the food came out the server came to ask how it was and it seemed at that point is when the ‘service’ was over. We finished our food and our cocktails with the intention to order another round, however every time she came out or went back in she just walked by, I say that because we were seated by the door so it would have been easy to see that we were empty, this happened about 4-5 trips to other tables. By the time she came over we decided it wasn’t worth it because we didn’t know how long the drinks would take or how long to get the bill after, it seems like she decided this as well as she already had the tablet to checkout. We spent $100 with the tip and if they were a little more attentive, not sure but it seemed she couldn’t handle more than one thing at a time, we would have added another $40 to that bill. One or my party having 15 years experience in the industry knows that this should have been better and could have made more money off us and for herself (tips).

Good atmosphere, service and pub food. Great selection of beers and other drinks. The sauces on the burger and crispy chicken were delicious and not very heavy. Prices have gone up like everywhere else and there is the added tax and tip on top of that, which makes this outing for two people, for only two burgers, and one large beer almost $80. Quality of food and service was worth it.

I recently visited this restaurant with my friend and dog, and it was an absolutely great experience! We sat on the patio, which was perfect for a sunny day. The sunlight didn’t hit us at all, making it a comfortable and pleasant spot to enjoy our meal. The atmosphere was wonderful, and the service was top-notch. But the highlight was definitely the food! Every single dish we ordered was amazing. You can tell they put a lot of effort into their food, even down to the onion rings. They were freshly breaded, not frozen, which made a huge difference in taste and quality. Highly recommend!💛💛💛
