Lobster Burger Bar

I really liked this restaurant! We visited on New Year’s Eve. The service was great from start to finish. María took care of us and gave excellent service. JJ, the manager, was very friendly and came over to say hello. The menu has a lot of options, and everything looks tasty. The food we tried was so good! The lobster rolls are delicious! I will definitely come back to try more dishes. The service, food, and atmosphere were all amazing. Highly recommended!

I visited the Lobster Bar last night after a show at Roy Thomson Hall. I had been wanting to try it for a while, as seafood-focused restaurants, especially those featuring lobster, are rare in Toronto. When my friend and I arrived, we noticed a sign on the enclosed outdoor patio instructing us to wait to be seated. Since it was cold and the restaurant appeared empty, we went inside to wait instead. There was someone behind the bar, but no hostess or other staff were present. The person at the bar ignored the group of about 4 people waiting, including us. Eventually, my friend approached her to ask about seating, and we were directed to an empty table nearby, leaving the other group still waiting. The hostess arrived later and moved us to another table, but throughout our visit, we felt unwelcome. While the staff were efficient and not rude, they lacked warmth or friendliness, with the exception of one Asian server who wasn’t assigned to our table and whom we interacted with only briefly. The food was okay, but not memorable. Portion sizes were good, and the pricing was reasonable, but nothing about the experience stood out enough to warrant a return visit. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t go back.

Appetizers: Happy hour 50% off, calamari and clam chowder 🤩🤩 Meal: Absolutely loved their lobster & fries. Their rolls are also delicious. Drinks: also great! JJ the manager is the funniest person ever and made this experience 10x better!

Great food and beautiful decor/atmosphere. Although, the service was not great and music was pretty bad and too loud. We waited more than 10 minutes after being seated for a waitress to come, and found they weren’t very attentive to the needs to each table. Food was delicious though and very good for the price. Also, the Eras Tour drinks were great!

Came here for a quick bite during TIFF. We ordered the popcorn shrimp and the lobster mornay, both were tasty and relatively cheap because of the evening special. Plating/presentation was beautiful, and matched the cool vibe of the restaurant. Service was decently quick, and the manager brought complimentary chowder because of a slight wait. Washrooms were clean, individual stalls. Overall good service and food - somewhat pricey without the special, would recommend coming on a weekday evening.

It's really nice inside. The staff are are nice too. The lobster roll was really tasty! The only thing was the calamari was quite salty but overall, I like it here! I would definitely come back!

Having lived in King west for over four years, I used to always walk by this restaurant. Cannot believe that I waited so long to give it a try! The menu is expansive with choices of lobster dishes. The service is fast and efficient. Our server Hailey was warm and attentive. We opted for Lobster risotto and mini lobster rolls (signature). Both dishes did not disappoint. I particularly enjoyed the saffron in the risotto. The amount of lobster in mini rolls was generous. I cannot wait to return and try other things on their menu.

We had reserved a table for 5 + pet and were seated on the patio. Overall food items ordered were good. We ordered shrimp appetizer and the nachos. Mains: lobster burger with lobster poutine, lobster role with truffle fries, and lobster roles with regular fries/ceaser salad, and vegetarian pasta. The roles were good based on the feedback provided accept one was slightly overcooked but overall experience was good including the vegetarian pasta. Overall good experience and pet friendly. Manager came out to greet us and staff were friendly. The patio was a little uncomfortable and has a drain right beside it. There is no option to give 4.5 stars or that's what I would be giving
