Little Coxwell Restaurant is a new restaurant in Toronto opened more than 6 months ago.
Little Coxwell Restaurant is a Vietnamese and Thai restaurants characterized by its curious 'chef-in-a-bowl-of-soup' logo. In any case, there's lots of seating inside (I reckon those are Ikea tables and chairs) and offers curries, noodle soups, rice dishes and more.

Don’t judge a book by its cover. My family and I have been regularly eating here for almost 10 years. Both red and green curries are consistently outstanding. The chicken pho is what helps when you’re getting over a cold. I’m also a fan of their spring rolls. Occasionally the service may suffer if you call in your order but this is easily avoided when you place an online order. Straight up, the food is good and reasonably priced.

Follow @bredgyeats for more food reviews and posts! Got the 35. Pork, Chicken, Shrimp with Rice. When I was younger, my most ordered dishes were pieces of deliciously caramelized pork chops and chicken on a bed of steamed rice. It's so ridiculously simple yet has a nostalgic homecooked feeling that'll take you back to your childhood. The portions are almost overstuffed in the container, and is a great amount of rice for meat.

Worst experience at a Vietnamese restaurant!! Their treatment towards customer is so unfair!! They didn't serve welcome tea for us when we went there but they did serve only to the customer who were white people. I saw those people came and sat and just got the tea without asking. I had to asked for tea then they serve it. They even didn't give the tea to the Indian couple who sat just next to us. I just saw that they were discriminating based on nationality I mean who does thatttt!!!

Really enjoyed my mango chicken dish. The advocado milk shake had familiar flavor with those I had in Vietnam, likely because they used condensed milk.

I ordered a Lemongrass soup and a pad Thai not realizing each was a generous portion, but the food was so good I ate it all in one sitting. Pad Thai was exceptionally delicious, very balanced flavor with the sear I'm looking for in a good stir fry. Edit: just tried the fried rice, holy it is probably one of the best fried rices I've had in Toronto. Juicy crunch from perfectly cooked shrimp and the rice is evenly seared. 10/10 I'm hooked. They're really friendly, chatted them up and made sure to let them know their stir frys are exceptionally good

Tasty food, big portion, and supper friendly staff. Hidden gem in East York. The beef dish was well flavoured, and the bbq tasted just right. I ordered bubble tea as well, which was really good. I will go back again to try other dishes.

Love that we have an East York neighborhood Vietnamese/Thai restaurant. We've been eating here for over 10 years and nevet disappointed. This time we ordered the Vietnamese Beef Noodle soup, Fried Seabass Fish Tofu and vegetables, Mango Salad and grilled pork on noodles. Consistently delicious and great value. Love the fact it's family run and always busy with neighborhood regulars grabbing takeout.

Not bad for a local joint.. Saves us from going downtown for Vietnamese food. Wish there were other sizes offered for the pho. Next time I'll ask for less noodles or extra meat as I ended up with so many noodles that I'm about to throw out. We don't usually like that much breading on our wings but they were nice and crunchy. Service was nice, very friendly.
