Casual Korean restaurant with traditional dishes. It was pretty quiet on Christmas evening, but service was lacking and slow. We got the hot pot gamjatang (pork bone and potato soup) and kampungki (fried boneless chicken with sweet and sour sauce). This was a good portion for 4 people, both were so delicious. The gamjatang came with two bowls of purple rice. My only complaint was the side dishes were very mediocre/small and it took a long time to refill them. Overall it's a solid, affordable choice.

Gamja-tang (pork bone soup) is so good!!! The Kim Chi pancake with cheese was also really good. Yum yum!!

We stopped by Lim Ga Ne to unwind on a chilly day with friends, and it was the perfect spot for the occasion. Conveniently located just off Yonge and Finch, this cozy Korean eatery has a homey vibe that makes it an ideal place to hang out, especially as the cold weather sets in. The service was great, with the staff being attentive and helpful throughout our visit. We ordered the beef bibimbap, gamjatang, and tteokbokki with cheese—classic Korean comfort foods that didn’t disappoint. Each dish delivered the hearty, savoury flavours you’d hope for, making it a satisfying meal from start to finish. The fact that this place is open 24 hours is a huge plus, especially for those late-night Korean food cravings. Overall, Lim Ga Ne is a solid spot for cozy comfort food and good company. Highly recommended!

This place is amazing! The food was super tasty, everything we ordered was fresh and full of flavor. But what really stood out was the service. Andy, our server, was awesome—so friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. He even helped us pick a few dishes that turned out to be perfect. The vibe in the restaurant is cozy too. Definitely a spot I’d recommend if you’re craving good Korean food. Will be back for sure!

Lim Ga Ne is my go-to Korean restaurant! I’ve tried a lot of their dishes but The Galbi Tang is incredible—so flavorful and comforting. I also love their kimchi; it’s the best! A must-try spot!
