Liberty St Diner

As a first time customer I could not recommend this place enough! The food is so flavourful and the portions are huge! The meal presentation is amazing you can see they take their time to make sure their work is perfect. The staff is all very friendly and are quick on their feet. Absolutely loved this restaurant.

After seeing many positive reviews in an online forum, we decided to try it out. It did not disappoint. There was quite a line on a Saturday afternoon at 1ish, but it moved quickly. It was a cold day and they were offering those in line hot drinks while they waited. Service was quick and friendly and the food was quick and hot. We had mozzarella sticks (6) to start and they were excellent. Then we both had the liberty burger. It was huge and very good. We observed the many orders being sent out and they all looked very plentiful. We will definitely be back to support this local business.

Great first experience at Liberty St. Diner! We were greeted and seated instantly. The restaurant was busy with plenty of friendly staff to assist. We received our food within minutes of ordering. Our classic breakfast plates were flavourful and delicious as well as a very good portion size. We will certainly be back to try more of their menu! You will easily see this family run business is taking pride in what they offer!

Fantastic Breakfast Spot in Bowmanville! Liberty St Diner is hands-down one of the best breakfast spots in Bowmanville! The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. I ordered the classic breakfast and the wife ordered a buffalo chicken wrap and it was absolutely delicious. The portions were generous, and the prices were more than fair for the quality. The staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive, creating a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. Even though the diner was bustling, the service was quick and efficient. Whether you’re craving a hearty breakfast or a cozy brunch with friends, Liberty St Diner is the place to go. I’ll definitely be back soon to try more of their menu. Highly recommend!

If I could rate higher than 5 for service, I would!!! We met the owner who was very grateful for our patronage. Very kind man. All the food was fantastic with huge portions. None of us could finish our food and all brought home our leftovers. Can't wait to come back!! Thank you for having us today.

Visited this new diner this evening. Food was excellent and abundant. I had the chicken parm sandwich and my companion had the Philadelphia hoagie. Both were very tasty. Staff were all polite, cheerful and attentive. Will definitely be going back.

Breakfast was fast, excellent quality, cooked to perfection, and reasonably priced. Incredible value on the early bird special The servers were friendly and efficient. Coffee was a 6.5/10, which is pretty standard for a diner. Eggs were cooked perfectly (over Med.). Homefries and French fries are well cooked and beautifully seasoned. Fruit bowl was surprisingly large. Ruben sandwich was very good, possibly even one of the best around.

My family and I tried this newly opened restaurant, Liberty St Diner, and it exceeded our expectations. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance of comfort with warm lighting, tasteful decor, soft music and TVs. The meal was outstanding from start to finish. For the appetizers what we ordered were the breaded calamari and Liberty St wings. The breaded calamari was perfectly seasoned and fried to perfection. The sauce for the Liberty St wings checks out all the boxes above. The chicken fettuccine alfredo was perfectly cooked with rich flavorful sauces. The New York steak strips were also equally delicious. Finally, the fireside apple crostata was the perfect dessert to cap off a perfect dining experience. What truly set this restaurant apart was the exceptional service. As soon as we walked in, the staff welcomed us with pleasure. Our server went above and beyond to make us have a smile on our faces the whole time. Even the main chef came out to talk to us about how the food was going. The prices were reasonable for the quality and the portions. It’s rare to find a restaurant that combines fantastic food, great services, and such a lovely ambience at such a fair price point. I highly recommend Liberty St diner to anyone looking for a wonderful meal without hurting the wallet. I can’t wait to return to explore more of their menu!
