Lezzet Shawarma Falafel House

One of the best shawarmas I had in GTA . We had chicken shawarma it had such a mouth melting taste , the sauces they use are too good and very beautifully blends with chicken. We also had Ali-j and it was okay nothing special and no where comparable to chicken shawarma. Ambience is good but not great but the quality of food overcomes the ambience . Highly recommend this place for chicken shawarma

I’ve tried a lot of shawarma spots across the GTA over years, but Lezzet is the best. Their rice & chicken quality is second to none. Love their wraps as well, but my personal fave is their Ali-J special (chicken on the rocks). The blend of sauces pairs perfectly with it all. The lineup is usually out the door so you’ll probably have to wait 20-30mins but it is 100% worth the wait.

If you’re hitting up Lezett Shawarma, the Ali-J Special is where it’s at! This thing is loaded—it’s like the chicken on the rice but elevated. They really don’t skimp on the chicken and sauce here: the chicken is super juicy and perfectly seasoned, and it’s layered with just the right mix of garlic sauce, and hot sauce. I got the half and half, half rice and half fries. One of the best Shawarmas I've had in Mississauga so far! Will say there is a pretty long line, we waited about 30 minutes to order and then 5 minutes after we ordered to get food. To try for the first time I would say its worth it, if you're looking for something quick, this may not be for you! Really do recommend though!

Used to come here all the time for lunch when I was in high school. Always got the ALI-J because it was affordable and so filling, could never finish a large myself. Four years later, I’m glad to see the quality is still just how I remembered. I walked in and saw a line almost out the door. A lot of the workers are young and laid back. Easily the best shawarma spot in Sauga.

Finally tried Lezzet’s for the first time. The chicken was tender and delicious, not dried up like most shawarma places I’ve tried. You can really taste the garlic in sauce and the rice was fresh and delicious. Overall had a good experience, only criticism I have was it felt like less food than what I paid for ($15).

Love it!!! Super popular place though which means if you go during peak hours, you’ll have to wait 30-40min to order! I’d definitely go back, but probably only during off hours! 🤪

Food: I ordered the famous "Ali-J" on rice. I found the rice to taste good and have a good texture. It kind of reminded me of Portuguese rice. The chicken was just okay but had a good texture, it lacked flavour. They offered hot sauce which I accepted, which added a good flavour to the whole meal and only felt like a 6.5 out of 10 on the hot scale so that might be a must. The portion is pretty good for the under $15 price, which was mostly made up of rice of course but also a good amount of chicken. Service & Location: They service was great. I went on a weekday at around 3PM and from the moment I put my order, to when I got my order filled, it was about 3 minutes. The staff were very friendly, especially the latino guy. I saw comments of not having enough people working there but I counted 5 staff members behind the counter. They accepted cash or credit but did not accept AMEX. They had about 5 tables on the left side to sit and eat, with a couple other seats on the other side but there were items in the way. They also had a decent selection of drinks as well. The location was nicely themed and decorated, with a single washroom on the side. They had good music, which was not too loud but enough to give it a lively feel. Ultimately, I will return to try another dish as the quality, portion, price, staff were enough to get me to give their food a shot.

I don't think this place needs any more reviews as the food speaks for itself. The chicken shawarma plate is amazing. The chicken is well-cooked and soft. I hate getting the crusty outside part of the chicken at other places but here, they actually give you the best parts. The sauces go well with the meal and the variety of salads are great. The employees are also chill and nice. The only thing is that the music can be turned down a notch in terms of volume. I look forward to getting my regular shawarma fix.
