I got the taco carnitas and the chocolate churro. This was my first time having an authentic taco and LEYENDA did not disappoint. The taco carnitas came with tender pork, cilantro, and a sour green sauce. The combination of all these ingredients created a pleasant, fresh meal. Since I was dining in, the churros were served after I finished the tacos. They were super fresh, but be careful the sauce might be hot! I must also mention the service because it was excellent. Very friendly :)

I've had this spot saved for a while and finally dropped by for lunch. I think the costras (crispy cheese tacos) make this place different from the other taco shops in Kensington. I got the chorizo costra which was super cheesy, rich, and delicious. The carnitas was also flavourful and their homemade tortilla was so fresh and held together all the fillings. They give a pretty good amount of meat in each taco too. I also got a churro which was super hot and can be filled with your choice of caramel, chocolate or condensed milk! They have a 2 tacos + churro special for $13 which is a pretty good deal. The space inside is a bit small with a few high top tables and a patio. One side is the taco kitchen and the other side is the connected churro stall. The people here are also really friendly!

First time here, came on a weekday evening. We had their daily special which was two tacos + a churro. The tacos were good but really small. The churro was very tasty (had chocolate, condensed milk, caramel to fill it with). The restaurant itself is very small but super cute, the service was lovely.

The tortillas here are soooo good - made per order literally in front of you with organic products. Not exaggerating literally the best tortillas I’ve had in Canada. The tacos were so fresh and flavourful. 4$ tacos for happy hour which is was what brought me in. Tried the carnitas, beef and the shrimp with lobster tacos. Cute space too. Will definitely be coming back! Gracias! :)

Had a couple crispy melted cheese tacos, the protein is literally wrapped in cheese that has been perfectly melted to a crisp. Pretty damn good! Only slight about this place is they need to figure out some seating. There are some stools but there is very limited counter space and no tables.

the senador tacos were super good like especially the tortillas. definitely the best tortillas i’ve had in toronto. PORTIONS COULD BE A LOT BIGGER THE TACOS R SMALL. also the carnitas with the crispy cheese was extremely mid. have a great day

I’m a taco fan, so always down to try new taco places. This place is awesome! Their tortillas are homemade and definitely the most authentic tortilla I’ve tried (comparing to my trip to Mexico City). We had the shrimp taco - it’s simple, flavourful, light, and delicious. If you’re down for some authentic tacos, check this place out!
