Best Roti in the city, no question hands down, if you want Roti you must go here. Best Roti in the city no question, I’m not debating I’m not discussing if you have roti in this city then you know what level this place is at. Great service, they remember your name if you’re a regular (like me) great attitude atmosphere is nice to eat at. Just overall a 10/10.

Don’t eat food here they will kill you spices they have no idea what they are cooking got sick once and when we go there by ourself to tell them don’t put that many spices and food have to be thrown In garbage

Very good curry goat. The ambience is very basic but you go there for the food. Husband had the curried chicken and that has great flavour as well. Huge portions, great value for money.

This location is far and away have the best doubles I ever tasted. Brought my wife to try doubles for the first time and she wanted to come back very soon.Wifey also tried their goat curry and it was a blast. The staff is so kind and very respectful.We are being valued as a costumer. To top it off, the washroom is so clean.

My experience at Lena’s was most pleasant. I was excited to have found a place that serves excellent Trinidadian food. I thoroughly enjoyed my doubles—the filling was so fresh and the chickpea mixture as well as the chutney was bursting with flavor! And the scotch bonnet pepper sauce was oh-so-fresh and supremely flavorful! It was the best doubles I have had in my life! I got a dhalpuri roti stuffed with pumpkin and it was out of this world! I absolutely loved every bite! The store was clean and inviting and the service by Ria was excellent. I will DEFINITELY be back! :)

I’m a regular at Lena’s but the food is sometimes hit or miss. The doubles are always great, however, the chicken pie I received today was neither tasty, crispy, nor did it have enough chicken to be considered a chicken pie. For $6 I’d expect a decent amount of chicken in the filling. What I received was 95% chickpeas and 5% chicken- two bite sized pieces of boneless chicken (what appears to be curry) for a pie of this size? Additionally, it did not deliver on taste. I also purchased bake and smoked herring a few weeks back and many parts of the bake were severely undercooked and raw. The smoked herring tasted great but seems like it wasn't 100% herring and may have been mixed with another type of smoked fish. I brushed the undercooked bake off and figured I’d try it again another day to see if it would be better. However, after my chicken pie experience, I doubt I’d be willing to give that another go.

This is our go to Caribbean roti shop. Never been disappointed. It is simple and clean. Love the boneless goat! I wish they were open later though. Usually a regular stream of people coming through. Lots of parking in the plaza lot.
