Lebanon Express

Visited to this authentic Lebanese joint. We ordered Classic Chicken Shawarma Plate and Kids Combo with Chicken. The quantity was huge for both the orders we made. Also, the taste was awesome and delicious. To add further, the price was very decent considering it is located at the heart of Downtown Toronto. Staffs were friendly and the location was neat & hygienic. Will definitely go back to try their wraps.

I had always walked past this place at 6:45am on my way to the gym where I see an older gentleman who I’ve gotten to realize was the owner prep the food. One afternoon i decided to walk in and he recognized me and even though he may look a bit intimidating, he’s actually the kindest soul! I can tell as a small business owner he works really hard and I hope he’s getting the credit he deserves. His staff is also really polite, helping me as I decided what I wanted to eat. The portions were huge, delicious and great value for what you get. The chicken shawarma is quite popular, though I’m more of a kafta person. Either way, both were excellent choices and you can’t go wrong with the plates or wrap. The atmosphere feels like I’m transported to another country. Definitely this Lebanese feeling of home in the food. This is quite the gem and I highly recommend it for the food and the best service :)

Great food, wraps are very generous in size, delicious Saj bread! The meat samosa is very tasty, salads amazing. I’m so coming back! I’m happy I found this place! Oh, and super friendly Palestinian attendant, música sets a good atmosphere. If I could give a suggestion to the chef would be readjusting the salt from the meat or sauces.

We took our daughter to Lebanon Express for lunch today and it was our second time as we remembered everything was so good from the first time we went there. And this time, daughter loved the food so much that she went to the gentleman and the lady who worked there and told them how much she loved the food. The gentleman was so sweet, he gave our daughter a piece of Baklava for free. Thank you so much. We'll definitely go back when we are in the area. ❤️

The older gentleman here was super friendly and funny.. Even thanked me in Mandarin 😉 Ordered the shawarma plate 😋😋😋😋😋😋😋 where have I been? Umami yummy I can't describe it, but everything together yet everything tasted different, pleasant surprise coming in here Everything looks so clean and fresh . A must try Great atmosphere too, kinda felt like I was actually in another country.. ❤️

This place was a stone's throw away from my hotel while on a business trip to Toronto and in spite of having had a less than stellar experience at a couple Middle Eastern eateries prior, this place looked intriguing enough to give it a shot. I am glad I did. Everything from the quality and freshness of the food to the smiling service was top notch. I am vegetarian so naturally had to try the falafel wrap. It was outrageously delicious. But what really stole the show for me was their roasted potatoes topped with hummus or garlic (or both!). Such a divine experience. And unlike another Mediterranean place in Texas (which I reviewed) where the smell of meat pervaded the vegetarian dishes these folks knew enough to not do that. I almost ended up eating here twice during a 1 week trip but yet another Middle Eastern eatery beckoned. But I will be back here should I ever find myself in this neck of the woods again.

Went here after a 50 cent concert and we were starving! Really friendly service I had a falafel which was DELICIOUS! Some Freinds had the chicken shawarma with a bit mixed thoughts just because 1 of them fell apart? But it maye have just been that shawarma as it was still delicious! Definitely try them out and THE BEST THING IS THEY HAVE AMAZING BAKLAVA! IT TAKES YOU TO HEAVEN!

I walked past this place too many times without realizing it’s a gem. They offer a lot more vegetarian options than your usual shawarma joint; Many different kinds of salads, and other sides (highly recommend the eggplant!) and you can up to 2 to choose from with the plate option. The portions are huge. One of the few places left where you can make 2 meals out of <$20. The restaurant itself is very clean and and a few spots for in dining. The staff is extremely friendly to boot - definitely becoming my go-to in this area.
