The 5 course meal was excellent. Good flavor, good presentation, and the service was prompt. The animation was unique and mildly entertaining. We visited on a Monday night, and the place was sparsely populated, which was a good thing because the show only progressed when everyone had completed their course. On a fully occupied restaurant you could be waiting for a while for the next course to arrive. They accommodate food allergies with respect and accuracy. The overall experience that night was great. It's definitely worth trying.

First time attending, Food was very nicely presented and tasteful Mini shows presenting next course very playful, whimsical, and highly recommended if kid at heart ( like myself) , if you have children or you want to try something different My only input would be to offer more variety in music being played, it seemed to loop and was very repetitive

Food was amazing!!! The show was super cute. The room was hot and everyone was sweating. We were seated with about her couple and that made the night awkward. They need to ask people not to wear scents. I had such a headache from the smell of the person beside me. Take the bill from the credit card we used for deposit. Another awkward moment.. we had to ask if we just leave or pay. The flow of the show was definitely an issue. I don’t want to go out spend that kind of money and sit with people on their phones. We were able to go outside a few times for some air waiting (27.5 on thermostat) on people to finish their food. The show was awesome the food was incredible. The service lacked and although the room was nice, spending over $400.00 for our experience did seem like a lot to sit with people so didn’t even speak our language. Awkward It was still a great 50th birthday and I loved the food and the show. Wish the staff was more into it. You could do so much with some fun communication.

We enjoyed a late 2 PM lunch here for our anniversary celebration with our 6-year-old and we had such a ball! The exterior is rather unassuming, what looked like the main entrance had a sign directing to enter on Harbord St. instead. We were unsure once in as we saw the kitchen on our right and did not see a formal check-in area so waited a few minutes to be seated. We were seated at our own table as the restaurant had a light crowd. Decor was simple but no fuss as the animation is the highlight. Our son was thoroughly amused with the entire Le Petit Chef show, following among with his hands and making remarks. We quite enjoyed the show as it was unique compared to typical fine dining. We were impressed with the 5-course meal; well-paced, very flavourful and generous portions indeed. Service was attentive and friendly, just wished we had water refills without beckoning as we were parched. We were treated to complimentary drinks for our anniversary, a sweet touch. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience and would recommend it for a special occasion!

Fascinated by the reviews landed there to celebrate my spouse birthday. It was a new experience something which kept us engaged throughout the span of time. It was an overall experience to watch those animations before your food is being served. The portion of food is more than sufficient and with an amazing taste. The hosts are very attentive and cooperative. They also served a complimentary slice of cake for birthday celebration with some amazing experience, (not mentioning here so that you can explore that experience). Luckily most of the tables that day were accompanied by person who came for birthday celebration which added to the lively occasion. Worth visiting for family and friends!!

This was such a fun experience! Exactly what you see online in ads and videos. Your experience starts once everyone is seated at your respective seating time, and each course is served at the same time for the whole restaurant. My sig other ordered the regular menu and I ordered the vegetarian menu so we’d be able to try everything they offer. The food was very good and very filling. We left feeling very full which is great given the price point. Overall it was such a cool experience and I’d definitely recommend it!

One of the servers had really foul body odor and I had to cover my nose whenever he walked by. Definitely not great for the appetite. Washrooms were a little gross and had no hot water at all which makes me wonder how the staff wash their hands. I'm surprised the place still has a PASS. The food was pretty good. Shows range from 2-3.5 minutes. It's a neat experience. You get 5 substantial courses, which for the money isn't bad. I don't understand people complaining about the pricing that they would have seen before booking. The kitchen miscounted so 3/4 in my party got their chicken while I had to wait for mine. If they fix the hot water and that server discovers deodorant, it would be a pretty good dining experience.
