Lazeez Shawarma

It’s with a heavy heart I’m writing this review on how awful my recent experiences have been at Lazeez Shawarma, this location in particular. I have been going to this location, and this location only since 2019 consistently, and today will be my last! I have never seen a restaurant decrease in quality as fast as Lazeez, especially this particular location. If anyone knows what I’m talking about, it’s started since that really friendly gentleman on the larger side stopped supervising the store. From then on, the quality has decreased more and more every couple months, and so have my visits. I was craving shawarma and went here even though I said I never would. I really regretted it. The food tastes awful, absolutely awful. The fries taste and feel like cardboard and the seasoning on the beef is way too strong and unpleasant. Not like the beef they made before. The only thing they didn’t screw up is the rice. But let’s be honest here, how hard is it to really screw that up? It’s not authentic middle eastern long grain rice either. They use short grains, but at least it tastes somewhat fine. The taste of the sauces were appalling, I have the feeling they’re inauthentic as the tahini didn’t taste like tahini, and the garlic sauce didn’t taste even remotely like garlic sauce. I’ve never been a picky eater, and I have the ability to eat most things I find disgusting without spitting it out or feeling like throwing up. This is the first time food from anywhere has made me want to genuinely vomit. The nausea due to the taste afterwards was atrocious. I didn’t finish and threw it out, and went home to pop a couple Tums. I can’t believe this is the same Lazeez I’ve been to all these years! Did the owner sell the store to someone else? Was there a change in the franchise? I mean, what the heck is going on here? I can tell business has been bad for them as well, and with the recent influx of poorly rated reviews in the recent months and the BOGO deals on Uber Eats trying to appeal to more people, I think I’m right. Won’t be coming back! The most disgraceful restaurant/franchise in all of GTA. I went home tonight envying my dog. Maybe next time I’ll just have what he’s having!

A very beautiful place with beautiful people, service is awesome and the ladies are super cute and friendly. They make you feel like home. Never experienced such a beautiful atmosphere anywhere else. Loved the service. The food was super good and place was hygienic. Highly recommended

I recently visited Lazeez Shawarma and was thoroughly impressed! The wrap was packed with fresh ingredients, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. The fries were crispy and golden, a great side dish. I tried their rice with beef and found it seasoned just right, making it a hearty and satisfying option. The hummus was creamy and smooth, pairing perfectly with the fresh falafel, which had a crisp exterior and soft, flavorful interior. The chicken salad was fresh and well-dressed, adding a light and refreshing touch to the meal. Every dish was delicious, portions were generous, and the service was quick and friendly. I highly recommend Lazeez Shawarma for anyone craving authentic, high-quality Middle Eastern food!

:::Great food::: I visited this place first time and did take away. The place is small but kept neat. The family at service were so welcoming 😊 The staff are so fast at their respective tasks 👍🏻 They value your choices in terms of which ingredients to be included and excluded. Their shawarma are the best. Well cooked meat, well seasoned and fresh veggies. I would highly recommend this place. Thanks to all who works here. Would definitely visit again 🥰

I never post but I'm tired of this. Everytime i use uber for their special bogo deal l, there's never enough chicken. I rather just not get the deal and get the regular ones. Basically halved the chicken. I get it's tough right now with prices but keeps tricking customers in thinking it's a good deal. But your quality is being lowered and makes it so ppl like myself won't be coming back. What's the point of a bogo deal if it makes people not want to come back. Never again.

Alright, huge portions, good price, quality could be better. The tomatoes were a bit old, I hope you change your ingredients as needed! She did hook me up with a lot of other goods cause I told her the tomatoes are soft. She went hard! I like that. I’m gna come back and check on your tomatoes. I got this ton of food for $20, large mix, chicken and potatoes were gooooood.

I frequented this place multiple times, and each time, the staff was consistently friendly. During my recent visit, I was in a hurry to get to work, so I stopped by for a quick purchase. The lady was exceptionally kind, assisting me in choosing a speedy sandwich, and the entire process took just 5 minutes. Her understanding and friendliness made my visit thoroughly enjoyable.
