Amazing place that we discovered almost by accident. Good size portions of delicious food. They were also very accommodating taking us in 30 before the restaurant reopens for dinner. We'll definitely be back.

Everything was wonderful! Food was great specially the french onion soup with gruyere cheese., steak tartar, new York strip loin and chicken cordon bleu supreme. The service was superb from Costas. I cannot wait to comeback with family and friends.

Such a great experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere welcomed easy conversation for guests with the ideal volume level of music. The service was impeccable and one of the owners/managers ensured perfect service for all guests. We felt very well taken care of and had so much fun. The food was also delicious! My significant other ordered the escargots which were seasoned very well. I ordered the French onion soup which was absolutely fantastic! Definitely rich in flavour and a bigger portion than expected. For our mains we got Rigatoni in tomato sauce and the braised duck truffle risotto. Both were delicious, but the risotto was better, with the perfectly cooked duck that melted in our mouths. For dessert we got a complimentary chocolate cake with fresh berries for my birthday. The cake was perfectly fluffy and light, and the berries around were so fresh. Overall, an amazing experience. We will definitely be returning. Thank you!!

I tried their Escargot, French Onion Soup and Steak Tartar. Everything was on point. The French Onion Soup wasn’t too heavy, which was great. The Escargot were delicious, including the side of amazing bread that came with the dish. Finally, the Steak Tartar meat was high quality and was quite spicy which made it feel less heavy. Sazerac was very nice as well. Very good service and chill atmosphere.

My birthday dinner experience here was spectacular. I didn’t know I liked bleu cheese on my medium-rare steak until L’avenue cooked it for me so perfectly. The scalloped potatoes were delicious, and my boyfriend loved the lobster tails. Very chic ambiance with tasteful art on the walls. The service is out of this world, so I would definitely go again if I ever found myself in the great white north.

Brunch review: beautiful Parisian-style patio with great ambience. Large trees, wicker seating, string lights, and heat lamps. (The cover provided by the trees provided perfect shade from the sun.) Menu prices are a little steep but the service, dishes, and attention to detail match the prices. Avocado toast was served with fruit, scrambled eggs, and fries. Ricotta lemon pancakes were served thick and surprisingly dense. French press coffee was a nice change from the usual drip coffee typically served at brunch restaurants. Our server was attentive and always brought extra cutlery, unprompted, for sharing purposes and so that we did not have to mix flavours from the different dishes. Excited to come back and try the dinner menu!

Me and my partner recently dined at L’avenue and were thoroughly impressed by both the exquisite cuisine and the impeccable service. The attentive and knowledgeable staff ensured that our meal was a memorable one, providing excellent recommendations and ensuring our satisfaction. Shout out to Pouria, he’s such a nice and friendly guy, I really appreciate his service.

To begin, thank you to the amazing staff at L’avenue for making my 23rd birthday so wonderful and a memorable one. You guys truly made the experience an unforgettable one and were absolutely amazing the entire night. The food was decadent and extremely generous with its portion, rich and flavourful for each dish. Everything for its attention to detail was exquisite and the decor and minimalism was beautiful. We will definitely be returning to celebrate anniversaries and birthdays knowing that this hidden gem is only 5 minutes away from where we live. In addition, the cocktails were absolutely amazing, the waitstaff were great to hearing what we wanted and couldn’t have asked for better service throughout the night. Once again, thank you for such a memorable night and we left with such full and happy bellies.
