The servers are really nice. The 3 stars is for the inconsistency of the food. Sometimes it’s really good but if you go on the wrong day it can be really gross. I’ve tried many times to like it but it’s too much of a gamble.

Fresh tamal, amazing tacos, along with all the other dishes I miss from Mexico City street food. The seating is small and cramped but that only makes it more authentic and makes me miss Mexico more. I swing in here to grab a great snack and groceries.

Just had to stop by when I saw the $1 tacos. So glad I did! The little bar where you can add salsas and get chips is also great, and the green salsa was delicious

The food is as close to proper authentic Mexican food as I have gotten since 2015. Regardless of price, they have their flavours spot on! The music sets the scene well and the general ambience of a store that feeds you food also has a better resemblance to an authentic Mexican experience when compared to some restaurant. Pick your own food, but so far I have not gone wrong in 3 visits here. Would highly recommend. For further improvement, I which they had home made Oaxacan hortchato de coco. The type you get at a local homestay with the bread.

SLOW and mediocre. Went to pick up a few tacos and was told it would be 15 min wait... 1 hour (plus) later and our food was still not ready. We were told it was because the chef was new. After getting home to eat we realized that one of our dishes was missing (despite confirming the order when we were handed the takeout bags). This is incompetency at it's finest. Very disappointing.

Food is fantastic, menu has a lot of variety of authentic Mexican food and they sell lots of Latin products for a fair price. This is my favorite place to eat.

Taco Tuesday? Nah, tacos todos los dias para mi, por favor. Best tacos I’ve had the whole time I’ve lived in Toronto. Reminds me of living in Texas near the border. Highly recommend. But don’t blow up our spot. Keep it on the DL, but bring ur neighborhood besties.

Since there has been a change in personnel, the quality of customer service has dropped considerably. The attitude of the girl who attends is not the best, when you did not ask for a drink they served you your food with a bottle of water, now it is not like that, before if you ordered tacos to take away they added nachos, which also changed.
