Was there with a group, everything we ordered was next level delicious. Service was amazing. Small space but they maximize the tables as it was packed, not surprisingly!

We had a great experience ordering from this pupusa place! The portions were generous, and the pupusas were packed with fillings—much better than many other places we’ve tried. They followed our special requests perfectly, which was a nice touch. Everything was fresh and flavorful, and the service was friendly and efficient. What stood out most was how quickly they prepared our order—20 pupusas in just 30 minutes, and each one was done right! A small heads-up: they charge a 2.5% fee for credit card payments, so it’s a good idea to bring cash or debit. Overall, our family was very happy, and we’ll definitely order again. Highly recommend this spot for delicious pupusas! 🌟

El Catracho is a hidden gem for authentic Latin food lovers, specializing in Honduran cuisine that brings a true taste of Central America. Located in a cozy setting with a vibrant ambiance, the restaurant feels warm and welcoming, almost like dining at a family gathering. Food & Flavor: El Catracho excels in traditional Honduran dishes. Their baleadas—soft, warm flour tortillas filled with beans, cheese, and a choice of protein—are simply fantastic. The pupusas are a must-try as well; each one is packed with flavor and served with a side of tangy curtido. Their seafood dishes, especially the sopa de caracol (conch soup), are hearty and rich, transporting you straight to the Honduran coast. Service: The staff is friendly and attentive, eager to share their culture and explain dishes for those unfamiliar with Honduran cuisine. They make you feel like part of the family, adding to the overall enjoyable experience. Ambiance: With Latin music playing softly in the background and decorations that reflect the culture, El Catracho creates an inviting, lively atmosphere. It’s a small restaurant, so it can get busy, but the cozy setting only adds to the charm. Value: Portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable, making it a great spot for both quick bites and full meals. Overall: El Catracho is a wonderful choice for anyone craving authentic Latin flavors, especially Honduran specialties. Whether you’re new to the cuisine or a long-time fan, the warm atmosphere, great service, and flavorful dishes make El Catracho a must-visit.

One of the best restaurants in Toronto hands down! Food is fresh and flavourful. Never had the chance to dine in, but 5/5 for the delivery experience (via DoorDash). I hope they consider opening another location in the East End at some point 🤞🏾

This place is so nostalgic for me. I grew up in Honduras but haven’t lived there in 10+ years. We live 1.5 hours away and this place will be visited again. The food portions are amazing very filling, the food came out piping hot and fresh and fast. Service is great and they gave us a high chair without having to ask. Quality of food 10/10 and tastes authentic how I remember it. We only tried the three things so I will need to go back and try more!

Authentic, fresh, and FLAVORFUL!!! I was introduced to this place a few months ago and have intentionally commuted to the west end just to eat here multiple times. The restaurant is clean, bright, and has a friendly family atmosphere. I recommend the Pollo con Tajadas (chicken on green plantains), the portions are very hearty, and everything is fresh. The flavors are off the charts, the chicken is perfectly crispy, and the bed of green plantains is the perfect compliment. I have never tasted anything old or stale EVER. The pupusas are very, very good as well. This is the kind of place you go to try everything at least once. If you like tres' leches, this is your spot. It is so, so,SO good. Also, their in-house Tamarind Drink is incredible. My only recommendation would be to dine in, I found the take out containers make the food sweat too much, and it becomes soggy. We love this gem of the west end Definitely House of Orion Approved ✅️

Best hot sauce ever! Food is so delicious. The menu has pictures of the items and derailed info. When we got the food to our table, the size was humongous! We are so full and only spent $50 between two people. We ordered 5 items and some drinks. I highly recommend coming here if you are hungry for tacos and comfort foods. Very authentic and fresh!

First time trying this place out and I was pleasantly surprised! The baleadas, pastelitos and, pupusas were the stars; filled, flavourful and, fantastic. Each meal was very well served, the food was ready promptly and, the lady who served me was polite and courteous. Looking forward to trying more of the menu.
