I took a long drive to find this place because I was craving African food. I couldn't find the place. I tried calling the number it went to voicemail. So disappointed since I was with my 4 year old daughter and there wasn't a restaurant around for us to grab a bite

Woooow, how glad I'm able to find this place yesterday, the service is extraordinary!!! The food is very well packed, I picked up it and travel back to Oakville, and not even a drip was leaked out! 😎 I'm a Chinese but this African food is surprisingly tasty 😋, and healthy. I'm a big fan of Chinese style of yam since younger, and I found the African style is same delicious. And the soup, or in Chinese's idea, that is more like dish, contains sea food, beef, mutton and chicken. Only downside is, even it described as mild, it is very spicy for me 🥵. I'm the type of guy who barely eat spicy food (not because of culture but personal experiences), But that doesn't stop me to finish everything and left an empty bowl. (I eat with chopsticks, and it feels special as well.)

On April 4th at 6pm. I Bought Pounded yam with efo riro and chicken. It was very delicious and pleasing to the eyes. It had the perfect blend of good taste, quantity, spice, and flavour. It reminded of how food taste back in Nigeria. The Chef is an Outstanding and Excellent Cook. I highly recommend going to Las Gidi Jollof to get the best tasting Nigerian dishes in Town.

One of the tasty Jollof rice and Turkey I have had since I came to Canada. Very Smokey with a complimentary plantain. You need to try this honestly… after a road trip to Toronto, I decided to look for a place to eat late night. drove all the way to Las Gidi Jollof. I came back to buy Poundo Yam for my friend. They open 24hrs. It does not have a dine in, though amazing personality and fantastic customer service experience. I definitely recommend this if you are around Mississauga.

If we could give 10 ⭐️ I would. JOLLOF = Perfection The food is delicious. One of the best hands down. I hardly leave reviews but this place knocked my socks off. Plus the lady is very pleasant

Found this place on google map and it turned out to be a home-based restaurant. The portion was really large for the price we paid and the food tasted really flavorful and authentic. Will definitely order again.
