Price is good for AYCE. Many varieties of food. My favorite is fried chicken wing. The cuttlefish paste, and shrimp paste are very good.

老九门Hotpot 9 is the perfect cozy spot to enjoy Toronto’s first snowfall! The restaurant offers a spacious and beautifully decorated space featuring traditional Chinese elements. The open partitioning adds a sense of privacy, making it ideal for group intimate gatherings. The sauce bar is great, allowing you to craft your perfect dipping sauce from a wide variety of options. Their AYCE menu is impressive, featuring a diverse selection of meats, seafood, vegetables, soft drinks, and desserts. Plus, they include delicious side dishes like pickled cucumbers and a limited menu of grilled and fried items, such as chicken wings, all in the AYCE price. We chose the yuan-yang soup base—a combination of white pork bone broth and spicy broth. Everything we tried was fresh! Some of our favorites were the lamb slices, spicy tender beef, beef tongue, chewy beef fat, yellow throat, fortune pockets, shrimp paste, lobster balls, veggie bowls, wide sweet potato noodle and gluten. If you’re looking for a delicious way to warm up this winter, Hotpot 9 is a must-visit!

As there are so many good hotpot restaurants, I would not recommend this place. However, the price is reasonable. Many choices but taste is just quite average

Great AYCE hotpot restaurant with beautiful design and lots of food selection. Canned coke, diet coke and ginger ale is unlimited. Self serve sauce station with some apps, desserts and fruits as well. They have some unique items rare to most AYCE menus around like frog legs, beef fat rolls, shrimp paste stuffed mushrooms, giant deep fried chicken wings.

I was excited to try Hot Pot 9 with my friends and our kids. The interior and ambiance were stunning, and they currently offer a great deal: $30 per person on weekdays and $32 on weekends and holidays. They also have a fair policy of charging 60% for kids aged 12 and under, and our 5-year-old ate for free, which was fantastic for parents! There were 9 of us, with several kids, and we were welcomed with two soup bases of our choice—tomato and spicy broth. The menu was accessible via a QR code on our phones, offering a wide selection. However, it was confusing as every order remained in a pending status, and we could all add items at the same time, making it difficult to confirm if our selections were processed. Initially, the food came promptly, but as we neared the last half-hour of our two-hour seating, my pumpkin dessert, popsicles, and pork belly never arrived. We placed these orders when they announced last call and handed us the bill, subtly signaling the end of our meal. After following up, we finally received the pork belly, but the popsicles never came. We weren’t notified of any cancellation or given a reason. Additionally, the lack of air conditioning made the experience uncomfortable, as we were all sweating and losing our appetite. The service slowed down toward the end, and we felt rushed, unable to fully enjoy the last part of our meal. While the food and setup were impressive, the poor service and treatment were disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless there's a change in management.

Price wise it's a great deal for the Happy Summer all inclusive at $29.99 where the competition usually offers that for late night only. However, the past two visits at this restaurant has been rather uncomfortable as they either have no a/c/ventilation system or it's just been down. It's like walking into a sauna each time, which forces to you to keep drinking and hence filling you up. Both Daimaru and Haidilao don't have these issues as their temperature setting is just right. The overall atmosphere is very unique and nice and probably the best compared to the other hotpot establishments. The quality of food, especially the beef and pork has been hit or miss. Usually the first serving looks fantastic, however when you reorder the cuts of meat appear to be of lower quality and inconsistent with the first serving. Quality control seems to be non evident as we were served meat that was 90% fat on several occasions which we had to return back. The condiment area has a wide selection of sauces, fruits and desserts, however they need to do a better job of replenishing items as well as keeping the area clean. Similar to what many other reviewers have mentioned, there are a lot of fruit flies buzzing around.

Such a nice hot pot restaurant! Loved the decor and vibe. Had the pork and crab broth and it was excellent. They were very busy so servers were running around busy but overall nice enough. It was 32$ AYCE for the weekend. Would go Again.

I recently dined at a fantastic hot pot restaurant, and it exceeded all expectations! The ambiance was inviting, with a modern yet cozy decor. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, ensuring our experience was top-notch. The variety of fresh ingredients, from tender meats to crisp vegetables, was impressive, and the broth was flavorful and aromatic. Each bite was a delight, and the interactive nature of hot pot dining made it a fun and engaging meal. The dipping sauces added an extra layer of flavor, making every bite unique. Highly recommend for an unforgettable dining experience!
