Cozy and unassuming spot located in the east end, serving innovative twists on classic dishes. We ordered the tartare, hamachi crudo, guava salad, fried chicken noodle soup, and French onion toast off of that night's rotating a la carte selection. Each dish was creatively reconstructed and the drinks were peculiarly described; you can tell the staff has fun with the menu and enjoys their environment, as it shows in their service - definitely a must-try in the city! We also went for a night cap at their sibling bar Belle Isle which had excellent cocktails and a great overall vibe.

Phenomenal experience today. The ambiance, chefs and host could not have been more perfect, complementing the delicious tasting menu perfectly. Excellent pairing choices too, and the stories ahead of each course really made it feel like dinner and a show. Thank you!!!

A lot of us throw around 5 star reviews way too casually, this spot right here.. this is the true definition of a 5 ⭐️ Dining experience. From the moment you walk in, it feels Chįc, Swanky & a Vibe like you just popped into the latest hot spot on NYC must Dine list. Combination of an A1 FOH staff with a naughty cocktail list under their arm. Add in Zac & the boys (big S/o to Chef Jay and James) crafting up pure MAGIC in the kitchen makes for pure bliss. It’s busy everyday, so make a reso’ or be prepared to wait a pinch.. possibly even down the street at Belle Isle. *Don’t forget to keep a little Mystery in your life by joining them for Mystery Patio Menu*

Came here for our anniversary dinner, and it exceeded my expectations! The service was amazing, the staff made sure to explain each dish before serving it to your table which is a really nice touch. Food came out really quickly, too. We ordered the Salisbury steak tartare, dark green crunchy fall thing, cheesy toast, and the halibut à la corn dog. Everything was really unique and delicious in terms of seasonal flavors and different textures (Especially the cheesy toast). Can't wait to come again!

Great but not excellent. Full of unique dishes but didn't come away super satisfied. Seasonal menu so what I say here doesn't matter since it won't be around in a few months. Standouts were the Autumn Noodle and Salisbury steak crudo (not pictured). Portion sizes were definitely on the small side so even though they are priced reasonably, you're not getting a lot per dollar. I would say this is a $$$ establishment, not $$. Cocktails were nothing special. Worth a detour but not a destination. Ambiance was great though, with a killer playlist.

Lake Inez was this year’s pick to celebrate my cousins birthday. It was such a great choice! The food here is absolutely delicious. We love the small plates and being able to try different dishes. We were wanting to try 5, but that would be reaching. The server recommended about 4, which is a solid choice for sharing amongst 2 people. To start off, we ordered the lycheetinis. I loved the reference to below deck, one of my favourite reality shows. We also ordered a non alcoholic drink afterward which was also delicious! Back to the food, so the food comes out in order of the menu. I’m going to rate the dishes on what I like best, even though they were all good. 1. Meet-cute in the white lily diner brunch queue. 2. Beef Patty tartare 3. Ribs and ranch 4. All-nite Greek town diner The tomatoes that were on the sourdough bread for my #1 dish were divine! I wasn’t even going to get this dish, it was a last minute decision.. but it was definitely the winner at the table. So you need to try this if you are going! Another thing I want to add is how accommodating the restaurant was to my cousins dairy allergy. They were able to remove and the put the dairy component in another bowl for me to try. The ribs & ranch and the Greek town diner both have dairy. We were super grateful for that. We really enjoyed our time here and service was great, as well. Definitely a memorable dinner.

We absolutely LOVED our dinner at Lake Inez! Very attentive service, great atmosphere, and DELICIOUS food. Lobster 🦞 "ramen" was our favorite. Definitely book a table as it gets very busy. One of our favorite dinners in Toronto.

We were excited to finally check this place out but it fell short of our expectations. We ordered one of each item from the regular menu. There were some interesting flavours and textures from some dishes, however the dishes and service overall weren’t memorable. Favourite dish of the night was the dessert… I really did like the aesthetic of the restaurant, it’s cool. I hear great things of the mystery patio, so I’d like to come back and give that a shot before final judgement.
