Just picked up 3 nans from this restaurant and one naan was missing a quarter like someone ate it or broken by taking it out of the tandoor but the thing is that’s ok if one piece from the side ripped off however it shouldn’t be handed over to the customer who is paying you $3 per naan . Very bad business strategies to harm customers

Went with my family. Hair in my poori - it was actually in the dough itself. They took it away after I made them aware and they just brought me a new plate. This plate had finger marks all over it from them cleaning drips of food to make it look presentable. Ordered lassi for someone that was with me, came when we were about done our food after repeatedly asking for it. Portion sizes are extremely small, one breakfast plate here is half of what other Pakistani restaurants nearby are serving. Had to order additional portions. Will not be returning to this restaurant. Please do better and make kitchen your staff wear hairnets at the least.

Went with the family to this local Pakistani restaurant and was ultimately not impressed. First of all the restaurant is just not kept up well at all. The seating covers were all ripped and made us almost walk out. The floors also didn't look particularly clean. Our service was also ok as the food took way too long to arrive even though we went end of day and it wasn't busy. However they did make it up to us by giving us some extra stuff. We tried a number of items including the lahori koyla karahi which was the star of the night. Quite flavourful and good quantity even though it is not cheap. Also tried the chicken seekh kebab and the bihari kebab and both were good although the bihari kebab was a bit tough to bite into. The chicken quorma was decent as well. Finally the nihari was not good and didn't take like nihari. Overall left a bit disappointed and a lot has to do with how the restaurant was kept.

(June 20, 2024) Visited with my family for my graduation dinner. 🥘🎓 Honest Review: 1] Atmosphere - 6.5/10. Good place to come to for a quick bite or with a little group of friends. 2] Food Overall - 6/10. It tasted mid honestly. We ordered Combo 1 (Option: 2 pc Beef Kabab with 2 pc Naan + Salad + Drink) which I’ll give the kabobs an 8/10. The kabobs were pretty tasty 😋. We also got Chicken Tikka Boneless Biryani which I’ll give a 6.5/10. I liked that there was lots of cubes of boneless chicken. I also liked the achaar taste to it and the green peppers. However, it felt like I was eating vegetable biryani 🫤 because of the big pieces plus big pieces of onion as well. Perhaps this is just the style of biryani at this restaurant and I’m not used to it because this was my first time of having this style of biryani? Lastly, we ordered the Lahori Angara Chicken Karahi which I’d give a 6.5/10. The gravy was nice. Chicken tasted a little plain to me. 3] Service - 2/10. I found the system here a bit weird? I had a paper menu in my hand which I brought in and took it with me to the counter to place my order. The girl working told me “I’ll take you over the table there and I’ll come take your order” only to seat me down and bring over their book menu and not come back 🤣. My mom and I went back to the counter and placed our order 😂. I very much love and appreciate that the food here is made fresh. However what me and my mom very much disliked about this is that the food doesn’t come altogether. We got our first item, then the second item came 15 mins later, and our third item came 20 minutes later. Bring the food out altogether! We also asked the girl for more water and she forgot. Popular Pakistani/Indian restaurant in the Ajax/Pickering area. A variety of cuisines are on offer. Tried the Halwa Puri weekend breakfast, which was exceptionally good. Reasonably portioned individual Thalis. The ambiance is dated and needs a makeover but the food makes up for it.

I recently visited at Lahori Karahi Taste with great expectations, but my experience was extremely disappointing due to serious hygiene issues. While enjoying my meal, I discovered a hair in my biryani, which was both unappetizing and concerning. Finding hair in food is unacceptable and raises significant concerns about the cleanliness and hygiene standards of the restaurant. This incident completely ruined my experience and made me question the overall food safety practices in the establishment. The staff were polite, and the ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant. However, the quality and safety of the food are paramount, and unfortunately, Lahori Karahi Taste fell short in this critical area. I hope the management takes immediate steps to address these hygiene issues to ensure that other customers do not encounter the same unpleasant experience. Until then, I would be hesitant to recommend this restaurant to others.

Wanted to try different food and decided to go lahori karahi for the first time. Atmosphere I would say is average as it is more for takeouts thought they have huge space. For some reason didn’t feel super hygenic. Service is ok too. Just one person as said they are for take out only. Food - we ordered mutton angara karahi. Tasted ok. Chicken curry was good. Biriyani is ok too.
