PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU ORDER HERE‼️‼️ I never wanted to leave a review but I thought to leave one so I get my message across properly to people who might wanna get food from this restaurant. I’m really curious on how they got licensed to sell food to the public or how they even got rated 5 stars!!! We went to get a small tray of jollof rice a plate of fried rice with ewa agoyin and some protein. none of the food was fresh at all tasted like the food that had been cooked since last week not even yesterday.. we waited for an hour just for this food to come out!!. That being said, me and my boyfriend took the food to our car I suggested we taste the food before leaving the restaurant cause we were driving back down to Toronto today. We finally tasted the jollof rice and fried rice it was tasteless, the rice tasted like it was cooked with palm oil, and the fried rice was completely tasteless. We went back inside immediately mind you this wasn’t even up to four minutes for us to tell this lady that the food was tasteless and there was no salt in it and, We got a large quantity of food and we could not waste our money to buy something that isn’t cooked properly. she kept talking about the fact that oh she never wanted to open today because it’s the second day of new year and that she cooks people‘s preferences….. and that people call her and be like oh I don’t want a lot of salt in my food. what!!! that sounds so barmy to me. Fine people preferences right?!!! How can you say people call you and be like they don’t want a lot of salt in their food and you sold jollof rice to us that was salt less like girl we never called you or anything this was our first time trying a Nigerian restaurant in BARRIE. She said she can’t take food back. The food that was just there 3 minutes agooo. She only refunded the money for the fried rice because it was a plate and not the jollof rice cause it was a tray. Okay fine then refund half of the money. She went on and kept talking about how she was being so considerate and that we should put salt in the jollof rice our self if we want.. SHE PROBABLY WATCHES YOUTUBE VIDEO TO COOK HER FOOD. She refunded my boyfriend $11 for the plate of Fried rice and not half of the small tray. We got home thinking the beans would be okay even if the rice had no salt or Maggie and BEHOLD the beans Was worser than the rest. The beans sauce tasted like it had sands in it. The proteins were okay because she just fried them. To cut the long story short she refunded for the fried rice. Ranting about how she would be disposing the small tray if we weren’t gonna take it with us. With all that being said, I truly in the most sincere way urge you to cook properly and not sell any dense customer preferences to people that never preferred anything in the first place other than a typical Nigerian dish. Saying we need to put salt in already cooked jollof rice is giving I DONT KNOW HOW TO COOK!! Please cook well and stop serving food that has been cooked 10 days ago‼️‼️‼️‼️. Update-Jan 3rd You sound like a sap head. What would I gain by typing lies on your page?.. and were you even listening at all. Your food was tasteless. It had no taste bro! Talking about you declined not to sell food.. you only declined to sell in trays and not in plates. Get your story right‼️. You had a menu on the wall stating the foods that were available yesterday. At the end of the day even if we were to get a plate or a tray it was still gonna be tasteless LADY. Besides why would we drop the tray of jollof rice back for you if the food was okayy even though we paid for it and never refunded us?? You should add the camera clip of that part to whoever you are giving it to and tell them we dropped the food with you and didn’t take it with us even though we paid for it‼️. you don’t expect us to spend our hard earned money on food that was bad and not leave a review. Would definitely not recommend for people‼️food is trash!

Mon. Aug. 26th, 2024 I will keep updating, until you do your Due Diligence!! We don't want your food!! You couldn't give it the first time we tried, was robbed of our money; as ALL these pictures shown in your reviews... Shame on you!! I will expose your messages too!! I been to Nigeria restaurants... and this was a very terrible experience!! Not worth the money!! $120 for bones!! Why can't I upload the pics???

Beautiful and neat environment. The food was amazing. I order small tray of eforiro(vegetable) soup and it was worth it. The party jollof rice was smokey and tasty. The sugar free Zobo (hibiscus) drink fruity and refreshing. I highly recommend

Delicious meal, owners are very friendly, have been shopping at the grocery store for a while. I ordered large tray of rice for a surprise baby shower. Every body loves it. I can feel that smokey aroma in the jollof. Will try other meal next time.
