La Veranda Resto

My fiancé and I held our engagement party at La Veranda a few days ago. We fell in love with the ambiance as soon as we entered the restaurant on our first visit. The owners, Elio and Yasmine, were amazing throughout the entire process and answered all our questions. Our party was 60 guests and everyone had a great time and enjoyed the excellent appetizers and main courses. The servers were very kind and courteous, and catered to some of our guests with special needs. Thank you Elio, Yasmine, and all the staff at La Veranda for making our engagement party so special and memorable.

We had our engagement party at La Veranda, and from the moment we stepped in, we knew it was the perfect place to celebrate such a special occasion. The restaurant has a cozy and inviting atmosphere that immediately won us over. We booked a private party, which was absolutely perfect—it allowed us to play our own music and enjoy personalized attention from the amazing team. Elio and Jasmin were incredible, taking so much of the preparation stress off our shoulders. The food was outstanding—generous portions and exceptional taste! Jasmin also did a fantastic job with the table decorations, adding a beautiful touch to our celebration. Thank you, Elio, Jasmin, and the entire team, for being such an integral part of our engagement day. You truly made it unforgettable!

La Veranda Resto is a fantastic venue for private events. As an event photographer, I’ve had the pleasure of working here many times, and it’s always a great experience. The food and service are outstanding, with the owners taking excellent care of their guests. The atmosphere is perfect for celebrations, with great music for dancing and beautiful décor that adds charm to every occasion. It’s a photographer’s dream, as the space and lighting make for stunning photos. Highly recommended!

we hosted out Engagement Party at La Veranda and I can't say enough good things about our experience. From when we first booked right until our event ended it was incredible. The food was Amazing (as noted by all our guest), the venue itself is great to host, and everyone loved the decor and how unique La Veranda really is. From the moment we arrived at La Veranda, we knew it was the perfect choice for our engagement dinner. The beautifully elegant setup, with soft lighting and romantic decor, created the ideal atmosphere for celebrating with loved ones. The food was fantastic! Every dish was both delicious and beautifully presented, with the perfectly cooked steak and juicy chicken that our guests raved about. Note to forget the crispy calamari!! The staff were outstanding—warm, attentive, and always ready to help. Their exceptional service made us and our guests felt truly cared for. What made the night unforgettable was the personalized touch. Elie, Jasmine, and the team went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect, turning our celebration into a memory we’ll cherish forever. We held our wedding ceremony and reception at La Veranda and everything was wonderful. They made everything so easy for us, everything was taken care of. Elio took care of the food (delicious) and Jasmine took care of all the decorations including the fresh flower centre pieces (stunning). Our guests had a wonderful time and even approached me throughout the event to say how beautiful everything looked and that the food was very good. I would highly recommend La Veranda and I look forward to celebrating future milestones with them. (Note: we hired with the DJ that Elio recommended but he wasn’t the greatest, just didn’t suit our style and didn't play most of the songs/artists on our sheet- I would however recommend the DJ if you like Latino style music) (Wedding Cake and sweet table treats done by Caroline from Sweet 3c’s also recommended by Elio. Beautiful and delicious!)

We have never been so reluctant to pay for food at a restaurant - ever. We ate at La Veranda to try the food with the intention of booking it for an upcoming family event next year. We were so disappointed. For a Friday night, it was quite dead and service was still slow and lacking. The food was awful. We ordered a few dishes to get a good idea of the quality and taste and 2 of 5 dishes were edible at most. The bruschetta was decent. The calamari fritti were the worst I've ever had - super fishy and slimy and gave off the look and feel of coming from a frozen pack. If they were made fresh I'd be very surprised. The mushroom pizza was actually disgusting. "Wood oven" pizza, dry and bendy like cardboard and the cheese was solid and barely warm - tasted precooked/reheated. The chicken supreme which came with 3 vegetables and mashed potatoes tasted like a frozen meal out of a packet. The rigatoni bolognese was decent. The waitress could tell that we didn't enjoy as we were pushing the food around our plates and barely ate - she kept apologizing but it wasn't her fault. She took the pizza of our bill without us even asking, which was appreciated. Halfway through the night we heard an outburst of yelling/arguing coming from the kitchen too, which was off-putting and unprofessional. Overall it was a horrible experience, the food was awful and it was a complete waste of money. The atmosphere is adorable and rustic and we were really looking forward to hosting our event there. Unfortunately we won't be back.

I have been at La Veranda many times previously but I recently had my bridal shower here and everything turned out absolutely incredible. The staff was so friendly and prompt, the food was so delicious and amazing and the decorations were astounding. Jasmine went above and beyond to ensure everything was set up beautifully. She made such a beautiful back drop for the photos! Eli made sure all the guests allergies were taken care of and the food was incredible. Over all I highly recommend this place enough for everyone and for any occasion. We will for sure have many functions there in the future. Thank you both so much!!! 🤍🤍🤍
