Absolutely outstanding service, pizza and price!!! Why is this place not talked about more?! Probably the best pizza in the Durham area!!! Let’s start with the service, very friendly, kind and welcoming family who gave our busy toddler a breadstick while waiting for pizza. That was so thoughtful! The pizza. Oh my goodness. Phenomenal! Freshness, flavour, crust, sauce. It was all perfect!!!! Oh, and their house made garlic dipping sauce is not to be missed - so delicious and flavourful! I cannot wait to try their pasta!!! The price was also the best we’ve seen, one large 4 topping and a medium 4 topping with 2 large 4oz dipping sauces for only $41!!! First time customer, but they’ll be seeing us again soon!!! I highly recommend La Pizza and Pasta!! 10/10!!!

We left the food up to the professionals for our Family Christmas Dinner of 25 people this past weekend! Carmela is a dream to work with, the home-cooked food was out of this world delicious and the price was very reasonable! Thank you La Pizza & Pasta for making our family gathering a success!

So, I like to think of myself as a Pizza Connesueir of sorts. I spend a lot of time and money on trying new pizza places out, I love it. I've been waiting to try La Pizza and Pasta for a while now and finally, I pulled the trigger. First off, I must say you can tell the quality is there. The crust is amazing, cheese blend they use is perfect and the sauce also taste fresh. The slight spice level that is in the sauce is not overbearing, however, it's the only part I don't think I'd like to have every time I have pizza. Aside from that I found the sauce perfect. It's perfectly cooked and I love that the crust is pretty thin. This pizza would have gotten 5 stars from me, however, the pizza was hardly warm. I ordered it at 7:34 and the lady said 45-60mins, but that it would be closer to the 45 minute side. The pizza arrived at 8:35, so one hour. I called the store because sometimes people struggle with the buzzer to my building and I wanted to make sure that didn't happen. When I called they said the pizza was leaving the store now, like that exact moment. About 5-7 minutes passed and sure enough it arrived. It's one of those distances where it's just not ideal to walk with a pizza but very close to drive. I don't really understand how it was pretty well cold. I saw the driver had it in a thermal bag, and also, it had only just left the store. It must have sat around inside for awhile prior to me getting it. Also, they close at 8. I would go there again but I would appreciate my pizza to be freshly cooked and hot next time. It was disappointing to have everything else be so great and then that one temperature issue which really throws a lot out of whack when it comes to fully enjoying your meal. The delivery driver was also very nice though and the staff on the phone were very polite so I never called in to complain about it. Seems like I might just have got a one off mistake.

Personalized and quality food, service and atmosphere. I unequivocally support small business in this economy, and Carmella is a warm energy. I absolutely loved the pizza and I got a personal size pepperoni pizza and drink all within $11.25. I have been looking for an authentic family owned experience in Oshawa, and here they are. I am sold!

I purchased a lasagna with meat sauce and a lemon cello cake. The lasagna cost $35 and the lemon cello cake 22.60 with tax the lasagna wasn’t worth 35 dollars! The lady at the desk gave me directions to put my oven at 400 and tent the lasagna and to let it rest for 15 minutes, which I did! The lasagna was watery and no more than 1 inch thick it was very bland tasting very little cheese very unnoticeable it was edible ! The lemon cello cake was very small for the value. It tasted OK 22.60 with tax not worth it! The lemon cake at superstore is $20. You get more and tastes better than this cake.! Very very disappointed I will not be back!

Always enjoy ordering from La Pizza & Pasta because the food is fresh, hot and delicious. As mentioned in other reviews, portions are generous and the prices are good. Prefer to order from this family run business, especially the Thursday lasagna special. Don’t forget about the pre-made meals! I often pick up some of the homemade pasta and soup and leave in my freezer for when we need a quick meal.

Went for lunch with my wife and it was incredible. Everything from pizza to breadsticks that come with the lasagna is made from scratch. The food was delicious! We ordered the tiramisu for dessert and it was one of the best tiramisus I've had. Overall the food was excellent and the owners were really friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that wants traditional homemade Italian food.
