Had really good food at la pizza & la pasta two weeks ago. We ordered the buratta pizza and fettuccine alfredo( and another pasta I don't remember the name). Both had a really unique taste and the chilli oil with the pizza was the cherry on top. Also to mention my favourite sourdough bread with olive oil which was presented before the main course, it was a bit hard making it difficult to chew. Service and atmosphere was decent. Would come again for the pizza❤️

Arrived at about 2:15 after the lunch rush, but they were open. Was set down and ignored for an extended period of time. When the server finally arrived, we wanted one daily special and additional a-la-carte dishes. We were refused and advised that everyone at the table must order the special in order to get it. We ordered from the regular menu. Server asked if we wanted a bread basket and olive oil, and we said yes. To make a long story short, it never arrived. After a VERY LONG wait, the food finally arrived and just dropped by the server, who immediately disappeared. We periodically say the server walks by with cases of wines and other supplies. She was busy stocking the bar, but we were unable to make eye contact. Another server was in the background busy chatting with the pizza cook. The thin crust pizza that we ordered was EXTREMELY soggy and utterly disappointing. We finished our meal and continued to wait for an extended period of time. Finally, a manager (?) walked by, and when he saw the state of our table, he sent over a busboy to clear it. We asked for the bill and had, again, to wait for a miracle. One of the worst meal experiences in Toronto from a place that was supposed to have high standards...

We got there in a perfect timing, no wait say right down and then all of sudden we look up and there's a wait to be seated. Our server was great. The food was excellent. My only regret was not getting the lemon pasta dish. Love the mirror above the pizza making station. What a great eatery and great location with lots to see and walk through.

We were luckily able to make a last minute reservation for 1:15pm in a Thurs. It didn’t seem that busy, but when we asked to sit at the available tables by the window the hostess was kind but said the server in thy section is overwhelmed unfortunately, which is understandable I guess, but then a couple ended up sitting there after 10mins. Food: Molecola $6 - Expensive for pop but it was quite the unique Italian cola, worth a try I guess Calamari $23 - Decent portion but the calamari pieces were quite small. Tasted great though. Fettuccine Al Burro Di Tartufo E Parmigiano $30 - A nice al denté texture, fresh Parmesan taste. Also served tableside side in a cheese wheel. Lasagne Emiliane $27 - Good lasagna but was slightly burnt on the edge Linguine Allo Scoglio $35 - al denté texture and a good-tasting tomato-based seafood pasta Overall, a good Italian restaurant but there are better Italian restaurants.

Eataly’s pasta-making class was an incredible experience! The instructor were knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about Italian cuisine, making the class both fun and educational. We learned how to make pasta from scratch, and the hands-on approach really helped everyone feel involved. The best part was getting to taste the fruits of our labor—everything was absolutely delicious! The class was well-organized, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned cook, this class is a must-try. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to learn more about authentic Italian cooking!

We had lunch here on a Friday at noon. We had a reservation, so we were seated promptly by the window when we arrived. Our server was attentive given that this was during the lunch hour rush. Our meals arrived quickly. All the ingredients looked fresh. The pasta was cooked al dente; the pizza crust was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I found the portions to be just right for lunch, but I can see how others might find them a bit on the small side for the price. On the price, this is Eataly on Bloor. So given the location and the quality of the food, I find the prices acceptable.

Lasagna was delicious and fresh. The pesto pasta is slightly undercooked and the crab meat is cold. The bread is okay but cold, if we are paying 7 dollars for it maybe toast it a little... The service was overall good and friendly but our water bottle was empty for a while and got no refill in the end.

Their pizza is delicious! Loved that we could get three different pizzas for variety. Very fresh ingredients and unique flavours. I love artichokes so their fried artichokes were a must buy and they didn't disappoint. Service was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and specials. Will try their pasta next time!
