Love this place! The aesthetic, food, service - probably the best I’ve experienced in a while in Toronto! Tried the famous 100 layer lasagna, it was good but a touch too salty for my liking and a little cold. You can tell the restaurant uses high quality ingredients across all dishes I tried! Another major highlight were the potatoes! Ughhh soooo flavourful and crispy

Came here on a Friday night with some friends to catch up on a Friday night. We had a reservation for 9:45 but got there much earlier and the staff still sat us right away. Our server got us water right away and was always coming in to check on us to see if we needed anything else. The espresso martini I got was really delicious and the food was immaculate. If you want to have a really nice night out with an amazing dinner experience I couldn’t recommend this place enough!

5. Dined in for dinner twice recently and really enjoyed both of my experiences. The space is fun and vibrant and a good place to take parents because it’s not too dark. Menu changes but they also have some staples. Very accommodating of allergies and were very careful with both dairy and soy. Modified dishes and I wouldn’t have even missed the cheese they were done so well! Service was strong even when busy, mains took a long time both times I was there- server was apologetic. One of the times they comped one of the mains which was kind of them. I preferred the fish from October to the fish in November but other than that things were consistently great.

In town for work, I searched for places open on Monday nights for dinner and La Palma came up in a list on Taste Toronto. I came with three colleagues. Unfortunately, the bartender started us off with some attitude when I asked what was the difference between the two drink menus (one is bottles, other one has glasses, but she mentioned that we could order glasses from the main menu). Thankfully, our server Abraham (name on our bill) saved the evening. We couldn't decide from the many items on the menu, and he suggested the Chef's menu, which, at $75/person for four courses, with at least two different dishes per course, ended up being more than we could have imagined. What a great deal! We were so stuffed at the end of the evening, and enjoyed all of the dishes, especially the 100-layer lasagna and albacore tuna crudo. One star removed due to the attitude we were greeted with, but extra kudos to Abraham for his attentive, friendly, and efficient service.

It was me and my husband first time there for our anniversary and I was referred to la Palma by my clients. Our experience was overwhelmed, the food was excellent!!! Especially I went there for the main course was the 100 layers lasagna and everything else was excellent. We will try to come every week to taste everything that they have there.

Cool ambience. Staff could be more attentive but they are friendly. Food just isn’t great. 100 layer lasagna tasted like lasagna with too much cheese. The fire chicken was nice but was just a plate of chicken for $35 and It literally had two mini drum sticks and half a leg. Needed some sort of accompaniment or even just a garnish. And the fried potato’s were good too if we were eating them for breakfast with some eggs of something. Unfortunately this place just missed. We won’t be back.

Absolutely loved the aesthetics of this place and the prompt service! However, the 100-layered lasagna was a bit lackluster, and the miso cauliflower lacked flavor and didn’t really taste like miso. The pizza was just average. On the bright side, the cocktail was good, and I highly recommend the chicken liver mousse instead!

Everything we Tried at La Palma In the Trinity Bellwoods neighborhood, La Palma offers a sleek Italian dining experience with Venice Beach vibes. As you enter, you're greeted by massive garage doors lining the front and hand-painted murals in hues of green, black, and pink, creating a crisp, clean, and light atmosphere. La Palma serves delicious Italian dishes with a playful Californian twist, from pasta to pizza, including enticing vegetarian options. The highlight of the menu is their famous 100-Layer Lasagna, a must-try for any visitor. 🏷️$$$ 🎥 @melissa_foodie.fun
