Lol we always bought Ilocos Empanada here for $5 each and now they charged it for $5.99. We just bought 4pcs for $20 last Monday with the lady but the guy today charged $5.99.

I placed a pick-up order through DoorDash that the store didn't prepare or have the courtesy to cancel before closing for the day. I drove 22km to get there and the store was closed before the hours listed on front door signage and on Google. The staff member there was rude and not understanding even when I had proof of order.

Ordered take out for our gathering, and so blessed how friendly the owner is, he gave us his beautiful smile that radiates in his store and on top of that we just love the fried chicken, spring roll and pansit we ordered, not only on time when picked up but the taste is so delicious!! Surely we'll order back again. Thank you La isla!!

The restaurant needs to improve ventilation, not so nice smell. I tried the garlic peanut, full of moldy ones, not crispy, garlic are dark and gooey not fit for consumption.

Just had their kalbi, sisig, and kare. Their kare seemed more like pork belly with peabut sauce, which is still delicious, but not stewed. Was hoping it would be proper oxtails. (It's the only reason why I give it 4 stars). Otherwise, the staff and service were great. I'm not a sweets guy, but I had mochi balls for dessert. I'll definitely be back in a few months. Good times!

They've got the Christmas Ham on lock. There's never a Xmas that we don't have at least 3. It's the best I've ever tasted.
