La Gloria Mexican coffee

La Gloria feels like eating at your grandmother’s house: cozy and full of authentic flavors. If you love true Mexican food, this place is a gem. The breakfast was amazing—fresh, homemade, and full of tradition. It’s now one of my favorite spots in Toronto. Highly recommend for an authentic and delicious experience!

From the moment I stepped in, I could feel this place had charm. I was greeted enthusiastically by Saul, served a delicious Mexican coffee by Daniel (a "Mazaccino", infused with peanut mazapan, an absolute must-try), and then crowned with a sombrero for a super fun photo. Such a memorable experience! Since then I have tried their food, which is all really tasty and made with love each time (I suggest the Chilaquiles and the Molletes) and every time I go it's the same great service. This is a real gem in the Toronto cafe scene. They are passionate about what they do and make you feel like you're not just a friendly regular, but a valued part of their La Gloria community <3

Great place!! Friendly staff, prices are reasonable and totally worth it for what my friends and I had! From a Mexican being away of my home country, it was a great experience being at "La Gloria" ☆☆☆☆☆ amazing service!

The food and drinks were delicious, but the cashier was incredibly rude. It's a shame! They messed up my order twice. I was charged for the mistake, and as "compensation," I received two candies. I was very kind and patient with them, but my time is valuable too. The long-haired cook came out to apologize and was sincere, which I appreciate. However, the cashier acted like it was my fault when I told him they had made a mistake for the second time. He looked at me with hostility. I don't know if he was stressed or what happened, but I overheard the table next to me, who are vegetarian, telling him they had also made a mistake. On my next and final visit, things were no different. The cashier was once again very rude and hostile. The food was just okay, and the green juice was bitter. We won't be returning until the cashier takes a hospitality course and learns about good customer service, or until they hire a cashier who can handle stress and not make customers feel bad when all they want is to enjoy their food and have a good time.

I stumbled across this cafe and omg it was the best experience! I’m from Mexico and this cafe made me feel right at home, it was literally the best Mexican restaurant I’ve been to in years!!!!It’s so warm, the staff is so sweet, and the food!!! THE FOOD is amazing! It tastes homemade and so so fresh! Will definitely be coming back here! I loved the ambiance of the cafe, the two guys working there were so accommodating! Everything about this place was perfect! So please go and give them a visit, you will not regret it!!! P.s the chilaquiles are to die forrrr!!!

The food was really really good! We got the Molletes, Mexican sandwich & Torta de chilaquile. Our favourites were the Molletes and the Torta! Exceeded our expectations! The coffee was also on point! Extra shout out to the staff! They were so friendly and awesome! Also very accommodating! Super reccomend!

This place is a hidden gem! The food and service was was amazing. Very responsive staff and made sure our table got everything we needed. Super aesthetic, filled with beautiful art. I am so happy I got to experience this place. I highly recommend.

This place is so cute. The service was impeccable. They are very welcoming, funny and responsive. I would recommend this for a cute date or hangout with friends. They have unique drinks that taste like a warm hug. Their food is also very delicious. Come here for good vibes!!
