El Mariachi that was singing that night took me back to when I was in el Salvador, as did the tacos! Get the tacos govenador (shrimp) the taste is amazing!!! Will be back!

We came here on a Friday night and sat inside. They have a small stage for live music, but nothing was planned for that night. We ordered “Piña Colada” and “Margarita” for drinks, “Calamari Rings” for appetizer, and “Cactus Tacos” and “Octopus Ceviche” for entree. Calamari portion was smaller than we expected. And Octopus Ceviche had smashed avocado on Google photos (maybe they weren’t accurate), but it didn’t come with smashed avocado; but it was delicious. Calamari and tacos were just okay. The service wasn’t that good though. The staff weren’t even around to ask them to refill the water bottle on our table.

Nice place in Kensington market. Tried their taco deal, 4 for $20. Tacos are okay. A bit too saucy and greasy for my preference. Flavour combinations were a bit strange and didn’t taste authentic. Definitely skip the chicken tacos and try the seafood ones, particularly the fish and shrimp. Strawberry mojito tasted very minty which was refreshing. Would definitely come back to try their ceviche which looked delicious.

Molcajete Mixto is worth the price! Drinks were so good, too. Service took a bit longer but they were busy with big tables so that's no fault on their part, hence the 5 star rating. The mariachero sang very well.

May and Eileen were awesome. Fantastic service from both. And the Aztec ceviche with leche de Tigre made with lime juice garlic and ginger was to die for and classic margarita were the best I ever had and a perfect fix for the heat wave we are having today! 5 stars! 😃. Thank you to all.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at La Cevichería, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The food was simply delightful. I tried both the ceviche and the tacos, and each dish was bursting with flavor and freshness. The service was exceptional as well. The staff was attentive, friendly, and Margy made sure that every detail was perfect throughout our meal. To top it all off, the ambiance was fantastic. The music added a lively and enjoyable atmosphere, making the whole dining experience even more memorable. I am already looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommended!

A miss on taste, tried the trio, the shrimp cocktail tasted like ketchup! Between the two other ceviches one was good one as meh , but I think it was the first time I couldn't finish a dish in a long time, sorry but I tried liking it but just couldn't! The freshness was not bad just the blend and quality of ingredients was such a miss.

Ok, so here is my review of this place 1- decorations 5/10. The place needs some upgrade, it's OK but could be much better and attract way more clients, missing chair. 2- service 7/10. They were polite with a smile, but they forgot our drinks twice, and two waitress had to take the order again. Need more communication between them. 3- ambiance 9/10. Very good ambiance with Mariachi and music band the sign Mexican music. 4- food 8.5/10. The food was good and not too expensive, but order tacos and the tortilla shredded from the bottom. (Look at the picture) They have good margaritas. 5- cleanest 6.5/10. It was OK but needs maintenance regularly .missing paper,etc...
