Food-wise, it was okay. Not the most authentic Mexican I’ve ever had but still okay. The margarita was terrible, unfortunately. What I did really like though was the decor and the vibe. I liked the aesthetic of this place! Also cool was our waiter whose name I didn’t get but he was a fellow Brit. He’d moved over to Toronto a few years ago so was nice to connect with him over his experience.

It was a very great experience. Not a big fan of Mexican food but one of my friend suggested this place. Never knew that Mexican cuisine can be so delicious. I personally wanted to try a good dish which will tingle my taste buds so had a small conversation with the Chef ( whose name was KK) , he was very accommodating. Must try - Nachos, COD and duck tacos. The ambience and service was great as well. We were never left abandoned and were well taken care. Its an ideal place for all kind of celebrations.

I recently visited La Carnita with my friends, and we thoroughly enjoyed the food and drinks. The tacos burst with bold flavors, featuring savory mushroom, chicken, and fish options, making each bite a delightful culinary adventure. We came to Toronto to celebrate our anniversary with our two children. My brother-in-law recommended this restaurant, as he lives in the area and had great experiences. The food was delicious, fresh, and came out quickly. The restaurant is well decorated and has a great vibe. Special mention to our server Hailey who gave excellent service, along with two other staff members who helped take care of us. We will definitely come back here again.

Great place, pretty good price for Toronto. Staff was wonderful, we took the boys out for a bachelor party and I would really suggest going here.

I went there with my friends on Saturday evening. I had made reservation beforehand via their website. We ordered: 1. LC Nachos (Vegetarian): 5/5 and must have. 2. Achiote Chicken Taco: 5/5 and simply amazing. 3. In Cod We Trust Taco: 2/5. Won’t recommend. 4. Sweet Potatoes Taco: 5/5. It’s vegetarian and really good. 5. Mushroom Tostadas: 5/5. It’s vegetarian and really good. 6. Shrimp Taco: 4/5. Good. Overall, the food was great. Tacos portions were bit small though. The service staff was so humble and friendly. The atmosphere is so vibrant. I would definitely come back here.

My friend and I were craving Mexican street corn and thought we try this place because of the great reviews. We went there last night and did not expect it to be really loud inside. I guess they play loud music on the weekends. They had a lot of seating for a group of 4 but I wouldn't reserve for a larger group as it's a little cramped inside . The food was good but portions could be better. The nachos were the best thing we got. Great toppings and lots of guacamole. However, the Mexican street corn was okay, much smaller than I expected and it could have used a little more butter. I also got their fish taco and it was delicious! Very flavourful but again the portion was small for the price. Overall, it is fun place to try out if you are looking for a regular Mexican place along College.
