Locally designed with the help of some of Toronto’s best street style artists, La Carnita is the spot to enjoy delicious tacos, a handful of churros, run through a mixtape, and wash it all down with a fresh cocktail or beer. At the heart of what we do is always to serve up a dynamic menu, and connect with the community through our love of art & music.

Staff was super nice and accommodating for our pretty big group (10+). Music was a bit loud but if you sit outside it’s not bad at all. Food was super good and portions were well sized. I’d 100% recommend the churros!!

The staff were super friendly and accommodating, the food arrived at a good time and was delicious and a great price for what you get. The nachos’ cheese was like none other and the churros and caramel sauce came in a bigger quantity than other food places with them. I will definitely come back the next time I’m in the area.

Recently dined at La Carnita, and it was an exceptional experience! The atmosphere was inviting, creating a perfect setting. The food was a true highlight – from delicious tacos to what I can confidently say were the best nachos ever. The flavors were outstanding, and the overall quality surpassed expectations. Kudos to La Carnita for delivering an outstanding dining experience. Highly recommend!

Service was wonderful! Had nachos as an app which was large and delicious. Tacos are served "family style" because "sharing is caring ;)". Would highly recommend the churros. Food portions a bit small considering the price, but I'd say 2-4 tacos per person was satisfying, including apps and dessert. Didn't get to try the drinks here!

Had the Carne Asada, Pork Belly Al Pastor and Mushroom Tostada. The tacos were full of flavour, and looked great but can be a bit on the smaller end for portion for the amount of money you pay. I really enjoyed the Pork Belly Al Pastor the most and would definetly have that again. Taste - 4/5 | Presentation - 3.5/5 | Portion - 2.5/5 Also had the tortilla chip with guacamole dip and the chips were crunchy, good seasoning and the dip had really good flavour. The overall vibe of the place is pretty good. However, we found it to be a bit expensive for the food/drinks served. I have to mention that the Pollo Frito tacos were really good. Probably the winner for me among everything we ordered. The cocktails were kinda just okay-ish. Service was good when our server changed later on. Wouldn't say it was an amazing experience overall , but it was just okay.

The staff/service was amazing. Always checking up to see if we needed to order more items or just to have a conversation about the food. Even though it was a little packed we never felt that we were being ignored. The food was great, but we found the chicken a little too dry, but the corn and crunch wrap along with the pork belly taco’s , really flavourful.
