This ramen restaurant is a hidden gem! The broth is rich and flavorful, perfectly complemented by tender noodles and fresh toppings. I highly recommend you try shio ramen. A must-visit for any ramen lover!

The miso vegetarian ramen was good, portions are really big and match the price.

Great ramen in the Beaches. Highly recommend getting the Kyouka Shio Paitan Ramen (the staff pick listed on the menu) and the boneless chicken Karaage. Would definitely go back!

Broth - very basic. I didn’t like the amount of oil in the broth as well. Noodles - only thick noodles available… not my favourite Portion - portion is great. I usually would order extra noodles but it was able to full me up I hated the chili paste… taste like chinese spicy hotpot I think this ramen spot caters too much to white people’s taste and the ramen is not authentic at all… If you are into ramen you are better off giving other places a try. Do not recommend.

This ramen spot is great and offers unique flavor combination, although, it doesn't really fit my personal taste profile. I really appreciate the portion size, which is very filling. The texture of the noodle is also good and the toppings are well season. The service was amazing, friendly and efficient staff members. I am looking forward to give this place another try and revised my review in the future.

Best ramen in Toronto. I think I cried when I ate it because it reminded me of Japan so much. Thick twisty noodles just like in Japan. You won't regret coming here. Ikkousha is amazing but kyouka's kind of ramen is far more ubiquitous in Japan But you can probably skip the donburis. Bring back your mazemen!!

The food was good and atmosphere was great. Only thing we didn't like is the waitress kept asking if we were done when we still had ramen left so it was a bit weird. Kind of felt rushed.

Super friendly staff, and a unique house kelp broth with chewy thick noodles. The house broth is salty and surprisingly light but super savoury and flavorful. The pork topping with the dipping noodles is a bit on the dry side but otherwise soft and delicious. If you like thick squiggly noodles this is your spot. Also love the option for spicy and FIRE level on most of the bowls, haha. Bowl at the table in like 2 minutes too. Update: Returned to try out another super unique bowl of ramen... with a dill broth! Basically tasted like dill pickle chips in the form of ramen. Incredibly unique and really well executed. Love to see a ramen joint in Toronto doing some exciting things with ramen and totally pulling it off. Upped to 5 stars from 4.
