Krispo Chicken

A big fan of the wicked sandwich and the spicy waffle fries. I go here all the time. Speedy and excellent service! Update: not sure what happened to this place but the quality has gone way down. The chicken is raw in the middle and sandwiches are poorly assembled. It was good while it lasted.

Very good chicken sandwich. I ordered it with a “wickit hot” heat level. It was hot but a good balance between sweet and spicy. I wish there was a spice level between “wickit hot” and mild. For $9.99 - you get the pictured fries and sandwich.

It's a very good chicken sandwich. It has a nice big piece of meat and not too much batter; just enough to make it crispy. It has a very good spice level and also a sweetness. They leave the skins on the fries which I've always loved and I would have this meal again.

Was really excited to try their fried chicken by paramount. Went all the way from Scarborough to try them on dinner time. To be honest it didn’t worth going from all the way. We ordered 3pcs combo, it’s looks nice but taste awful. Specially the chicken 🐓, their was a nasty smell coming from chicken. Felt like it was left over chicken from ages or the quality of the chicken was really really bad. I never had this bad experience in fried chicken. Not recommend at all. But fries 🍟 was nice as looks like fresh cut. Rather than this i was really disappointed. 👎👎👎👎👎

We ordered the chicken sandwich, spicy waffle fries and chicken tenders. The burger was really good. We really loved the spicy waffle fries. Chicken tenders lacked flavour, but it was nice and crispy and probably good with a nice dip. We did get garlic sauce, which went really well with the waffle fries.

I ordered a 9 piece meal ($26) and 2 sandwiches. I was very excited for this fried chicken but when I got home i was extremely underwhelmed. After waiting almost an hour for my order I was very disappointed by the bland taste and burnt smell of my chicken. The fries were not fully cooked and soggy. This was a bad dinner experience for my family and I will not be going back any time soon. There are much better options for fired chicken in the city than this over-priced, underwhelmed fried chcken.

Since stopped going to Popeye's, always on the lookout for a solid chicken sandwich. QuikChik came very close to it, but the flavour and quality of this chicken sandwich was amazing. Chicken breast piece was a great size, crunchy on the outside, tender on the inside and surprisingly juicy for a breast piece. Went with the mild version to actually taste what the chicken was like. The bun was in perfect proportion to the sandwich as well, even though I felt I was getting more sandwich at either Popeye's and QuikChik. But the sauce they use is very flavourful and different from other brands. Two critiques, the mayo was a little on the heavy side and therefore overpowered the chicken at times, but will stress to use less the next time around. 2nd was that I ate it too quickly as it was really good. The waffle fries - spicy version - was a good touch and they give a proper amount so you don't waste nor feel overfull trying to finish it. Highly recommend trying this. Sir Fakih, you did it again old chap!

Absolutely delicious or Krispolicious rather as their motto says. I am a big fan of fried chicken and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised that amongst all the pop up places recently in Torornto - Someone has done it right. We ordered the wicked chicken sandwich with Jalapeno corned bread and the slaw. This is truly one of the best chicken sandwiches I've had both north and south of the border!! Going to be trying their deep fried Mars bar and chicken bucket on our next order. Great job guys - You got chicken right !!
