When you visit Korean Village Restaurant, you're treated like family. The short ribs are absolutely amazing, and, as always, the sides are my favorite—especially the kimchi; I can't get enough of it. What really sets the Korean Village Restaurant apart is the care they show to their patrons. I’d say it’s about customer care, but Jay insists we’re family, and I believe him. I had an amazing time here with my family, Skyler and Lief. The server, Megan, was phenomenal and always on point. Thank you to her and to the other server whose name I can't remember. Thank you, Jay, and thank you, Korean Village Restaurant, for a wonderful night out with family.

Came here with a friend who was interviewing the owner, Jason, for a school assignment! We received exceptional service and our entire experience was catered to our preferences. When we sat down, Jason went out of his way to greet us in the languages we spoke! The food was delicious and came with so many condiments. We even got to try a kimchi recipe that that Jason had been working on. He even packed us some to take home! We received ice cream on the house at the end of our meal and Jason even gave us a chocolate bar on our way out! Super kind guy and always starts meaningful conversations. Would definitely recommend and am planning to go back.

Highly recommend for the food and service! I came with my dodgeball crew after a game and the owner knew my friends by name - he was so kind and funny. We ordered gamjatang, fried dumplings, jajangmyun (black bean noodles), and more. They were very generous with the complimentary side dishes and refilled them before we even asked! Everything was high quality and fresh. They also have the option of 2 kimchi - a young one, and one that has been fermented longer. Homey vibe, great for casual dining, or with large groups

Amazing! Need to get the dumplings, the best I’ve ever had, the dough on the outside alone made them so good. The service was amazing, our server was so great he gave us free miso soup. And the owner came out to give us free dessert since we were celebrating a birthday. Definitely make you feel like you’re eating at a family members house!!

What an absolutely wonderful restaurant! I cannot say enough good things about this place. It’s cozy with attentive service and delicious food, and the owner spends time visiting every single table and will remember you from visit to visit. We had a range of appetizers and the Bibimbap stone bowl for the main course. It was delicious and I loved that the stone bowl kept the meal hot throughout. We ended the evening with complimentary vanilla bean ice cream made in house, which was the cherry on top of our dining experience there! They are also incredibly accommodating for allergies and dietary needs. Highly recommend!! I’ll definitely be going back!

Super cute restaurant and attentive, friendly service! The owner and staff were excellent in making you feel welcome and sharing knowledge about their family’s Korean cuisine. Delicious food and even better service and ambiance. Would definitely recommend for a visit and checking them out!

Was able to get a table right away on a Friday evening, which was nice. The dining room feels pretty spacious. Service is also quite attentive. Our server checked in on us several times over the course of our stay, and didn’t feel like we were waiting too long whenever we needed them. The owner/ manager also mingles quite a bit in the dining room with the guests. The food was alright. The seafood pancake was a bit bland and on the greasy side. The jajangmyeon noodles were a good texture, but were sticking together at the bottom of the bowl and the sauce also could have used more flavour. I was pretty hungry though when we came in so was satisfied with the meal anyway.

How can I call this a hidden gem when it’s been around for 46 years?? Maybe because there’s so many Korean restaurants in the neighborhood it’s easy to miss, but you’d be a fool not to try Jason (and his late mom’s) food and hospitality. Forget how good the food is (it’s really good). Jason doesn’t think of you as his customers, he straight up told us we were guests in his mothers home and that’s why he’s going to take care of us and make sure we have the best meal. How can you not want to reserve a table for the rest of time when you meet a guy like that?!? I’m coming back.
