The Pad Thai’s sweetness & saltiness are balanced but the sourness & taste of tamarind are unnoticeable. The spice level is much weaker than expected since ordering spicy in my opinion gives a mild taste. The ground peanuts taste stale. The Pineapple Salad has a few chunks of pineapple, cashew nuts, ground peanuts, leafy greens, red onions, bell peppers, green onions and comes with a mild and very sweet syrupy dressing. The Basil Fried Rice has a very weak basil taste and the rice grains are clump together. It does not have smoky aroma of wok hei.

Found this place when we were taking a walk around dinner time, and glad we did. Tom Yum Pad Thai and Green Curry were so flavorful and delicious. Service was fast and friendly. The green curry was a tad watery but when we mentioned this, they took it off our bill which was unexpected and really appreciated. We'll be back!

I visited this restaurant in Toronto and had a great experience with delicious foods and friendly staff. The food was well prepared and enough for adults in affordable price. If anyone around here craving for thai food, I strongly recommend this restaurant.

Food is great, polite service, experience needs improvement. - view blocked by paper menus taped to the windows - food delivery guys coming in and out and yapping with each other is annoying - music went from loud dancing music to static noise the entire meal I’d come back but for takeout/delivery only

Yay, Koh Samui is back on the Danforth! It's moved a few streets down to Danforth and Jones, but still serves amazing value-for-money Thai cuisine. Dishes are tasty, generous serving size, priced reasonably, and they also have insane pickup and delivery discounts. Stopped by the new location and it's bigger than the previous one. While it's still getting its bearings (eg, the beef satay was a bit tough), the lemon grass soup with seafood is still one of my favourite Thai dishes in the city. Factor in the efficient service, amazing prices and huge discounts, and Koh Samui is definitely a high-recommend spot in area.

Our first time trying Koh Samui Danforth. We ordered the lemongrass soup, green curry, spring rolls, and tofu veggie pad thai for delivery. Good portions and easy to order online on their website. I really enjoyed the green curry and the medium level of spice had some kick to it. The lemon grass soup was rich for my liking but still flavourful I usually order tom yom which tends to have a clearer broth. Pad Thai reminded me a little too much of a chinese stir fry noodle so maybe it is extra fish sauce and/or tamarind sauce flavour that I was craving but it was packed with veggies and tofu. Not my favourite flavour profile for pad thai but tasty enough that I would still get it again.

UPDATE Dec.24/21 - Still awesome! Great quality for a reasonable price. Highly recommend - added new pic of food before we devoured it. UPDATE: went again this week still great! New pic added before attacked. WOW! Great food, fast and with quality! We got the Pad See Ee and the Tom Yum Pad Thai, fresh rolls and Chicken Satay and it was fantastic! The fresh rolls were packed with fresh hand cut veg, the chicken satay were larger pieces of white meat, the Beef Pad See Ee was full of beef and Veg and a nice wok flavor on the noodles and the Tom Yum Pad Thai... man, those glass noodles soak up soooo much flavor! The mains were definitely a flavor explosion! I highly recommend!! And as they're relatively new, they also have 25% off for pick-ups!! Awesome new place to add to you go-to restaurants. (Sorry about the pix... I forgot to take em at the beginning)

I ordered Garlic stir fry, Red Curry and Pad Thai for dinner. Flavours were all ok. However the restaurant used exactly the same vegetables for both the Garlic Stir Fry and Red Curry. It was kind of odd to have both dishes at the same time for dinner. I would like to recommend not to order these dishes together.
