We went around 9 pm. It was very busy. Service was fantastic... staff was friendly, helpful, and fast service. The food was not up to my expectations. The soup was not hot enough, and I mentioned it to the server, but there was no response. Fried chicken was fantastic, but fish rice was really flat. There is plenty of parking and it is free.

Been here a couple of times and it’s always such a pleasure! The food is very authentic with the pad thai being one of my favourites to order. The dishes can be quite spicy even if you get mild so be warned! I believe the ice cream is made in house and both the coconut and thai milk tea flavours are delightfully not too sweet! Huge shout out to our server Tony! He’s always super helpful and great to chat with so the service is absolutely spectacular! It really makes the dining experience a Michelin worthy one. I would highly recommend visiting this location but be sure to make a reservation as it can get pretty busy!

I need to set the record straight about Koh Lipe Thai Kitchen. They keep suggesting they're a Michelin-starred restaurant, but that's not true. They only made it onto the Michelin guide list - they didn't even get a Bib Gourmand rating. It bugs me when restaurants try to trick customers like this. The best thing about this place is how it looks inside. They did a really good job with the design - there are fun colors everywhere and the whole place feels warm and welcoming. You can tell they put a lot of thought into making it look nice. The service could be way better though. The servers barely talk to you and seem kind of unfriendly. When we asked questions about the menu, they gave super short answers that didn't tell us much. I was pretty let down by the food. Most dishes were way too sweet, which ruined the other flavors. Even their Pad Thai wasn't great - and that's a basic dish that Thai restaurants should know how to make really well. The flavors just seemed off and mixed up. For a restaurant that's bragging about being in the Michelin guide, the food wasn't anything special. I wouldn't say don't go there at all, but don't get your hopes up too high. It's just an okay Thai restaurant with really cool decorations. They need to work on making their food taste better and getting friendlier servers.

Love the portion of the food and the overall taste. I really love how it’s salty and sweet at the same time. The crispy pork is slightly too hard but the seasoning is still flavourful. The server is very responsive. However, the room temperature is a little bit too low that we ended up asking for hot water. Generally speaking, it’s a cozy place worth visiting.

Didn’t even know this Michelin rated Thai restaurant was located in Scarborough! What a restaurant this is.! I have been to my fair share of Thai restaurants around Toronto, but this one stands out. The food was absolutely delicious and tasted to what I would consider very authentic. The decor in this place is also something to behold. It fits in well with the vibe of this place. The staff is very friendly and lookout for the robot on bus boy duty lol. Make sure you make a reservation.

I had the pleasure of dining at Koh Lipe Restaurant, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with tasteful decor that immediately transports you to a serene Thai paradise. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring every detail of our meal was perfect. The food? Absolutely divine! Each dish is a masterpiece, bursting with authentic Thai flavors. The Pad Thai was the best I’ve ever had—perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of spice and freshness. The Massaman Curry was rich, fragrant, and melted in the mouth, while the seafood dishes tasted fresh and expertly prepared. To top it all off, the dessert, especially the mango sticky rice, was heavenly. It felt like a mini-vacation with every bite! I highly recommend Koh Lipe to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience. Can’t wait to return!

This is our first time to come here. Looking for Thai lunch in the area and found it. Restaurant is quite spacious, not busy at all. We ordered the veggie Tom yum soup (more sweet than spicy), and two items from special menu. Chicken Curry sticky rice and shrimp roll. They are all tasteful. Even mild, still spicier than other restaurants. Depends on where you sit, we were assigned to a dark corner (and very dark even they have a portable table lamp). Rest of the restaurant are much brighter. So if you prefer bright or dark, may let them know. I think the shrimp roll will taste better if it is less salty. BTW, if you look for lunch special, they don’t have it. Just regular menu for the whole day.

Michelin Thai restaurant located within Splendid China Mall. Had a great assortment of choices with an authentic Thai taste. Waiters were very nice and the interior and atmosphere was very clean. Certain dishes were spicy but that’s just the way Thai food tastes so if your spice tolerance isn’t that great, just let the waiters know ahead of time (Spring rolls and mango pineapple were spicy). Was pretty good that it made me come back a few times, definitely recommend trying out ~
