Amazing experience at Kiyo! The sushi was super fresh, and the flavors were spot on. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the overall vibe of the restaurant was great. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to. Highly recommend! 🍣

I have no idea how this place has a 4.7 rating. On Nov 21, I ordered delivery for lunch. It's one of the worst sushi I've ever had. I got the uni sushi and it was so watery, it basically soaked the seaweed around it and turned everything to mush. They used a container that was too large such that the uni sushi fell around which made it worse because the uni was so watery, it basically spilled out onto the box. I also ordered the salmon Don and as you can see, the rice was so hot it basically cooked the sushi. They also use red radish where the colour bleeds into the rice making it look red. I've never seen so much colour bleed into the surrounding rice before but maybe it's because the rice was too hot. See the pictures for yourself.

We stumbled upon this sushi place during a festival in the neighborhood, and it was the perfect decision! We weren’t really interested in the festival food, so we opted for this small Japanese-style sushi restaurant, and I’m so glad we did. The raw fish was probably the best I’ve ever had—amazing quality! The portions were on the smaller side, but the taste and freshness more than made up for it. It’s a small spot, but it’s truly a hidden gem in the area. The staff were friendly, and everything we ordered—sushi, sashimi, and maki—was top-notch. I’m really happy we found this place, and I’d definitely come back next time I’m in the neighborhood.

Came here on a quiet Wednesday evening - phenomenal food with top notch service! Portions are generous - we got both the Kyoto and the Fuji. The super cute cat themed decor and dinnerware was a cherry on top.

We loved our experience at Kiyo. The vibe is incredible, with charming decor. The food was delicious; we will go back soon. The service was top-notch, with friendly staff. We enjoyed the cat-themed decorations, and we bought some ceramic cat chopstick holders. A must-visit for anyone looking for a unique dining experience in the area

Maki rolls are a marvel to look at, on top of typically being a flavour bomb in your mouth, with all the right combinations of flavours and textures amazon prime shipped onto your tongue. Clean rolls with a thin layer of rice, especially loved the Spider Roll and their sashimi tastes fresh, no freezer burn.

Delicious simple local sushi restaurant. I have eaten here a few times and everything has been fresh, well prepared and reasonable in price. Plus the nigiri pieces are decent in size. Done right for how sushi should taste, texture and temp of the rice with fish slices covering overtop was visually and taste appealing. Thanks. Definitely a place to return back.

5. This sushi spot does an excellent job at differentiating itself from the countless others in the city- will definitely be returning soon. The menu is big- they have all the classics and some creative rolls- including torched sushi! The tuna tataki was fresh and delicious and so were all the rolls. I really appreciated that there standard salad comes with leafy greens as opposed to the standard ice berg and they remove the tails from the shrimp that are in rolls. The servers were super friendly and they were conscious about refilling water and checking in. The only drawback is that there is not a lot of seating so you may have to wait for a table. They were fulfilling a lot of takeout orders but this had no effect on our dining experience- our dishes still came very quickly.
