This is an excellent sushi restaurant in cabbage town that also has a market inside with authentic Japanese products that include sushi to go, beauty products and snacks. We ordered the appetizer sampler dish, sashimi , gomaee rapini and some a la carte sushi. The fish was fresh, the portions were generous , the appetizer plate was a cool option we loved some dishes and some were ok. Service and atmosphere were good ! Overall this is an excellent premium quality Japanese restaurant and price reflects that .

Kingyo Fisherman’s Market is a hidden gem! The friendly servers make you feel right at home, and the portions are absolutely huge. Their dons are delicious, packed with a variety of fresh ingredients. Plus, the small, adorable market inside is perfect for picking up unique Japanese products. Highly recommend visiting!

very fresh selection of sashimi and their rice was very well done, just the right amount of vinegar and balanced the sashimi very well. i particularly enjoyed the appetizer platter which is a bit of all of their appetizers which are made with care. service is a bit slow and not as strong but the food speaks for itself. i recommend sticking to their fish dishes, as we found the ramen to be rather ordinary compared to the other dishes. i would be coming here frequently!

Unbelievable food! We ordered the seasonal menu taster and everything was exceptional. Very happy to have had the opportunity to try this place. Will certainly be back and hope to try more of the menu. The Japanese market was great too

Finally tried this place and I wasn’t disappointed. I tried the platter, tofu with kimchi and the rice bowl with salmon. Everything was delicious and service was great. Definitely recommend the platter as you can try a little bit of everything. Will definitely come back to try the other items on the menu!

I LOVE their super fresh sea urchin and blue fin salmon!! The sea urchin is creamy and sweet, it’s literally the ice cream living in the ocean. Their parfait is super luxury, with sponge cake hiding insider and cute pudding on the top. The portion is super, which I spent 30mins to finish.

We tried their tasting platter and the seafood don. They have lots of options on food. Love their seafood don! They have a cute Japanese market in the store which has some great desserts! I got the Jasmine roll cake which is very yummy!
