I passed by in the morning, smelled so good, young woman gave a smile. I had things to do and stopped back much later in the day and it was so nice she remembered me. Great customer service and so friendly, the food is always delicious. Only thing missed in my order was the little round bread things but no big deal.

Can’t understand these bad reviews, don’t listen to them!! I was working down the street and stopped here for lunch. Owner was extremely friendly and the food was amazing (jerk chicken and rice). Highly recommend to everyone :)

This place is a hidden Gem in the city. Best West Indian Food. Reccomend trying the jerk chicken if not the macaroni pie was 🔥🔥🔥. The fried plaintain is definitely recommended.

It's actually pretty good. Meat is nice and tender, rice is nice. They have alot of bad reviews but give this place a chance. I think they might have alot of bad days but today seems to be great.

I used to go here all the time in my teen years and never an issue and aging 4 years ago so walking in with my daughter I was confident.. well I was wrong my daughter loved rice and peas well I got a small bbq chicken and she spit the rice out as fast as she put it in her mouth so I tasted it and it had the strongest burnt taste and then I ordered a fish cake and I went to eat it and it was harder then a hockey puck and full of oil and very disgusting couldn't eat at all the bbq chicken was meh.

Although the food was quite delicious, I’m afraid that it is not safe to eat there. After about 8 hours from eating the takeout jerk chicken, I had terrible stomach pains and diarrhea. Clostridium perfringens bacteria are one of the most common causes of foodborne illness (food poisoning). It can be found on raw meat and poultry, in the intestines of animals, and in the environment - and it was what caused my symptoms. Under certain conditions, such as when food is kept at an unsafe temperature (between 40°F–140°F or 4°C-60°C), C. perfringens can grow and multiply

The food is lovingly prepared as is evidenced by flavorful and tasty dishes. On my favorite places within walking distance from my home to order West Indian (Jamaican) cuisine from. I find thier barbecue chicken and fritters to be particularly good. I only wish they had a better dining in situation.

Mom and pop shop. I have been coming here for years. The chicken is well marinated and cooked perfect! Cocoa bread to die for, I’m pretty sure it’s homeade too. Worth the trip
