King's Breakfast Place

The pretty waitress was very pleasant. The food was terrific, the service wonderful, and the atmosphere peaceful. Very enjoyable and I highly recommend.

So my partner and I came here for the first time for breakfast on Christmas Day. It was not busy; there were my partner and I and about 8 other people. We ordered and got our food; however, my partner got her food 5 minutes before mine came out, and when mine came out, the home fries were missing so I had to get up and go over to the waitress and tell her they forgot to bring my home fries. When we were ready to pay, the waitress overcharged us by $19. We didn’t realize we got overcharged until we got to our car. We went back in to let the waitress know she overcharged us and she did it again; she gave us $15 back when we should have gotten $19 back. We didn’t say anything because we didn’t leave a tip as the service was very bad but we decided that the $4 would be tip enough… With that being said, we definitely will NOT be returning.

The worst experience/ place I have ever been to. The service is beyond slow. A snail could serve food faster. The waitress/ hostess is beyond incompetent. She has no clue as how to serve food or take care of customers needs. They have several tables in front of the food heating tray where the waitress has to excuse herself to guests in order to serve the food. We waited at least 40 mins to receive or food and it was mediocre. It is not busy in here maybe 10 people in here 5 tables to serve and the staff has no clue of what is going on. I would never ever come here again and I would advise my worst enemy to eat here. How this place has 4.9 stars is beyond me. Again absolutely the worst experience I have ever had while eating out. Me giving this place One star is me being too kind. I would give them zero stars if I had that option.

A charming spot for breakfast and lunch in the heart of Downtown Oshawa, King's is a must visit. The food is delicious (I delighted in a BLT), prices reasonable, and staff as friendly as they come. And, as if that weren't enough, they have a good supply of newspapers to boot.

Homfries were excellent, paprika spice. Real potatoes. Over easy eggs cooked perfectly. Baked beans, great. Toast is toast. Spinach feta tomato omelet with real eggs not the carton. Yummy. Side of bacon, 7 peices freshly cooked. Toast and homefries. Coke and water. Enjoyed my breakfast defenatly will be back. Polite and friendly service. This omelet was better than my Spinach feta omelet from the white apron. Just saying. Way to go King's Breakfast Place!!!

This is a marvelous find. Normally I would have never come in this restaurant, but after reading a few reviews I thought I would give it a try and I'm glad I did.... food was great, service was great and the restaurant was clean.... don't be fooled by the outside, walk on inside and try the food.... you will be happy you did.....

After seeing both my regular breakfast spots -rainbow restaurant and the white apron were both closed for breakfast, I was forced to try this place and glad I did! I got a massive breakfast with four eggs, home, fries, sausages, pancakes, and bacon I was quite surprised at the quality and portion sizes! 💪 I will be back

It’s a hidden gem! Normally breakfast place has very little Veggie options. By luck we tried this place. There were so many healthier options and fair portion for the price! We all love it here, will keep coming back for different dishes for sure! And the service is excellent as well! Very satisfied !!
