King Rustic Kitchen & Bar

Went for lunch on a Saturday around 1. We were one of two small groups there. The food was quite good. However, service was very slow for how empty the restaurant was. Coffee machine was broken, and for some reason they "couldn't serve cocktails". Music was very bassy and loud. Suggestions to management: Train the wait staff better Turn down the loud, bassy music Get rid of the QR menu. No one likes those Being condiments to the table rather than having them in cheap, disposable plastic cups. It just looks bad. I also don't want to have the server to bring more ketchup Overall, it was a decent dining experience. I'll likely come back in a few months to see if it's improved.

Drove past this restaurant quite a few times on King West, the patio always seemed to be hopping !!! Dropped in for Sunday Lunch, we were the first ones, place has been tastefully put together, cozy seating, curtains add character and warmth . Menu has lots of options especially some unique dishes. The cocktail menu also has a good selection. We ordered a Beer and Fire & Ice cocktail which was delicious. For lunch , we got a Moroccan Lamb burger which was moist, perfectly cooked and brought the flavours of the region, along with that was a Crispy chicken Burger which was also delicious, done right and very flavourful !! Ambiance was great, service excellent (Joshua was pleasant and attentive) , will definitely come by in the warmer months to try the patio .

Had their Rustic Burger here about 2 years ago and it was quite delicious with the chimichurri sauce! Came back here again with my mom, we had ordered the Beef Short Rib Dinner and Fish & Chips. Now as much as I love salt as any other person, the beef and broccoli that was in it was beyond salty! Unfortunately will not be ordering that meal again and cannot recommend it to anyone. Though, the service was good as they were both attentive.

Had a great time! Had a nice quiet dinner. Would highly recommend you to get their happy hour menu food and drinks. Also got a dessert to end the meal and it was to die for 🥰🤤

I LOVE the food here! And if you come at happy hour you can get nice sharing plates at a reasonable price. The Cajun wings are AMAZING! Great drinks - and also deals at happy hour. I come here regularly for takeout too. Nice little patio. Great staff!!

Went there Friday night after a concert. The place has good atmosphere with lots of natural plants, the rugs on the floor is a bit nasty as they are very duty. The food was ok, but I didn't like the way it was plated and also my husband found a strand of hair. I think was too late, and they would like to go home because the waiter disappear after we received our dinner we could see that he was busy in the back.

This is a quaint little spot my daughter found online as we were traveling from Michigan, and I am so glad she did! This place was great!! All of the food was fresh and seasoned to perfection👌(California Love salad, Rustic salad, Chicken Meatballs, Fish taco, and Herb Chicken). Our wait person Richard was awesome and very personable! The old school hip hop was a great touch, had me jamming the night away🎶 I will definitely be back when in Toronto!!

Really nice spot on queen west! My partner and i happened upon it and hadn't been before but it was really great and we'll go again! Staff was very kind and courteous. Limited menu at the moment but the options were very delicious. I had the green vegetable salad (summer special) and the veggies were deliciously roasted with an arugula base. The green dressing was really tasty. My partner had the chicken sliders and said they were awesome! Lots of cheese! And he had a cool mixed drink (pictured - orange with dill garnish) that was spicy jalapeño with other flavors. Really great spot and will be back!
