King of Fish N Chips

The portions here are huge so that was nice! The fries are read potatoes and delicious. We had haddock, halibut and shrimp and they were delicious. It didn’t at all taste heavy or greasy. Worth the drive!

I decided to try this place and try their fish and chips. Had the cod and I normally go with the fish first and fries after. The top fish was okay but soon as I went for the second the fish was undercooked since it was soft and it broke so easily compare to the first one I ate. The fries was not freshly cooked either (seems it’s been sitting for a while and just dumped in my order). I thought I paid for a good service and I regret leaving a tip for such a horrible experience.

Decided to try this place after driving it by it a million times and friends telling me it's pretty good. Walked in. It was very empty for a Saturday evening. Asked the friendly cashier if they have any fish sandwiches. She said no just what's on the menu. So I ordered two haddock combos. The combos were pretty good. The only thing that disappoints me is when a good fish and chip shop uses these pre-packed tartar sauce. Why not just make it yourself? It's a whole world of difference. Overall it was good. As I was waiting for my order I noticed on the The tables there's a sign that says fish on a bun. I confronted the lady before I left and she said oh I didn't know what you were asking for. Good fish and chips. Just make your own tartar sauce mayonnaise, chopped pickles or relish, lemon juice, and herbs (like tarragon and dill)

Nice clean family run place. Generous portion of old school fish with a nice crispy batter. And a complimentary side of hummus and pita. Will go back when I'm in the area again.

This is hands down the BEST fish and chips in the GTA. The owner is very kind and considerate of the customers. The vibe of the restaurant is very quaint and clean. Restroom is very easily accessible and clean. The fish is to die for. I personally don’t prefer the fries because they aren’t seasoned but if you like these types of fries I think you’ll like them. I always swap fries for the onion rings, they’re amazing! The service is phenomenal! Very welcoming and hospitable. I always come here because I know I will get the best food and service!

Honestly the service was so incredible. Very nice people running the place and they make the food with so much love you can tell. We ordered the fish and chips and I'll be honest with you it was excellent. Fries were just the right size and they were perfectly cooked. And the fish was amazing nice and crispy meaty halibut. Looking forward to definitely visiting these guys again and trying some other menu items.

Great little Fish N Chips restaurant. Friendly staff and good service. Fish was fresh and fresh cut French fries, all hot and fresh when they brought our meals. Prices are a little bit on the high side, but worth it for the size of the fish portion. I wish the fries portion was a but more. Overall very good Fish N Chips restaurant for Ontario. Would definitely eat here again.
