Kim Po is truly a hidden gem. The shrimp crackers paired with grilled pork are absolutely delicious, offering a delightful crunch and savory flavor. The special beef noodle soup features a broth that is both aromatic and rich, striking the good balance without being overly salty or oily. The fresh noodles have a wonderful chewy texture that elevates the dish. Don't miss out on the Vietnamese coffee; it's a one of the few authentic ones out there. The inside decor is old-fashioned yet charming, creating a homely and warm atmosphere. Unlike newer establishments focused only on Instagram aesthetics, Kim Po prioritizes good service and good-quality food, which is appreciated. The restaurant accommodates about 20 to 30 guests and do not take reservations. There’s a small free parking lot behind the restaurant, though finding a spot on weekends can be a bit challenging. Overall, Kim Po is a fantastic spot for a cozy, satisfying meal!

Overall is good but missing the wow with the atmosphere. We enjoyed the foods the restaurant is family own and have been around for a long time. We like it because its in a hiding zone so we can enjoyed peacefully lol. For the rare noodles, all the beef is hiding under all the noodles so it was a wow. Yum 😋😋😋 Coffee and durian drink was delicious 👍

I love this place. It reminds me of home. The server is really friendly and kind. The noodle dish I got usually come with vermicelli but I ask to leave it out. It basically egg noodles and pork. Everything I was nice portions and tasty. Would definitely come back and recommend everyone to try it out

Kim Po is one of the best pho restaurants in the area. The broth is flavourful and not either overly salty or oily. The service tea has a nice and flavourful taste which I’ve never had before. The service is also very friendly and the food came out quick. The grilled chicken here is my favourite and it has the most flavour. The beef pho also has tender beef and the noodles have a great texture.

A small little gem across from PMall that has great pho broth paired with pricing that won't hurt your wallet. The inside is really showing its age so it's kind of a bit run down. But service is quick, so if you are looking for a quick bite, it's definitely worth a try.

Post rainy day dinner, decided to go for Pho. Visited Pho Kim Po on a Wednesday evening since I was craving Pho on a rainy day. Except it became sunny when I got here. Starting with the food I the Pho Dac Biet (House Special Pho) and Bun Cha Gio Ga Nuong (Spring Rolls and Grilled Pork on Vermicelli). For the Pho, I actually like the broth. It was tasty and didn't leave me thirsty like some other places. One thing I didn't like however is that there's not a lot of meat. There's another Pho I know that is more generous. But this is average amount which is alright. Another thing I didn't like is the noodles were all bunched up and stuck together. For the vermicelli dish, I enjoyed this a lot. The spring rolls were very crispy. The pork chop was marinated with lemon grass which made it delicious. Next is the location, it's it an obscure place near Steeles and Kennedy. May be hard to find but worth finding. The inside is big enough and can fit about 10 groups plus some high chairs for individual diners. For the service, it was really quick and we didn't wait long for the food. I enjoyed my time here but this place did not make my top 3 Pho restaurants. Definitely in the top 7 though. Check this place out nonetheless if you're craving Vietnamese cuisine!

How was the food? This place used to taste pretty nice, I am not exactly sure what has happened. But I feel like the dishes here kept on degrading. I mostly enjoyed bun bo hue from this shop before. But now for me at least, there are multiple things wrong with it. First, the beef quality is going down. Second, the soup tastes less and less like bun bo hue soup, I think the most recent visited there the soup tasted too sweet. Third, they don’t give proper vegetables. and lastly, they don’t give enough noodles for the large bowl. However, I am not saying that they taste horrible, it’s just that considering how they use to be, this is slightly disappointing. How is the service? service is okay. Would I recommend? it is not a bad place to come and eat. actually there might be another type of noodle that is not bad. the one with the shrimp cake.

Had to get a quick lunch before catching the train downtown so I ran in here for takeout. I can't remember exactly what I ordered other than a grilled pork fresh roll and a pork bun dish. Both were very good and I can't wait to go back again and pay some more attention. The only down side is the restaurant is a bit grimy.
