I’ve been to Kibo Sushi for both dine-in and take-out, and the sushi is always delicious and fresh. I’ve never had any issues with the fish quality. The portions are nice, and the prices are reasonable. Sometimes, I’ve noticed that the fish doesn’t cover the whole piece, which is a bit odd. But overall, the place is clean with a nice ambiance.

Probably one of the most annoying sushi experiences I’ve had. Ordered the aburi maki platter. Unfortunately the sushi was so poorly put together that almost every single piece we tried to pick up fell apart on us. So it’s incredibly hard to dip any sushi in soya sauce or even eat it with chopsticks as every piece fell apart. I’m not sure if this is because it wasn’t pressed well or the rice wasn’t sticky or what, but probably the worst sushi experience I’ve had as every single piece of maki I picked up fell apart so it inevitably just eating a bite of rice or a cucumber.

Solid spot for sushi cravings. Enjoyed the assorted nigiri platter. The special maki rolls had interesting flavour combinations. Wasn’t a fan of the hot sauce drizzled on top of the scallop roll, wish it was mixed in with the scallops. Would have preferred the maki to be rolled tighter, pieces were big and fell apart easily.

We decided to try this sushi spot since it was on our route, and it turned out to be a nice choice. The sushi felt authentic, and seeing many Asian patrons added to that impression. The portion sizes were good—not overly large—and it’s a pay-as-you-go setup, so there’s no all-you-can-eat option here, similar to most traditional sushi places I’ve visited. The quality of the fish and ingredients was good, though the turnaround time was a bit on the slow side. Prices were slightly high, but overall, I’m glad we gave it a try. Satisfying experience!

If you’re on a quest for amazing sushi look no further than Kibo Sushi in Liberty Village. The sushi here is a true delight, with every bite tasting as if it was made moments ago. The service? Simply exceptional. Kibo Sushi has certainly maki-ed my day, and I’m sure it will do the same for you!

Delicious sushi and the ingredients seem high quality. They also have a cool AC running which was a savior on a hot summer day. Attentive staff as well. Menus has photos and affordable prices.

Loved our visit to Kibo! Our host was the best. She was kind and friendly. We ordered the new Yuzu Sangria (Must Try!) and Sushi. The service was quick and we loved everything we ordered.
