The food at this sushi restaurant was fantastic, with the sushi, salmon teriyaki, and shrimp tempura being particularly standout. However, the miso soup and salad were fairly basic and didn't leave much of an impression. I'll definitely be returning for the delicious food, but the atmosphere and washroom facilities didn't quite meet expectations, which is why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5. Nonetheless, the food alone makes it worth a visit!

As someone with celiac disease it’s very hard to find places to eat. It’s even harder to find any Japanese food that is safe for me to eat. There are many gluten free options here, which (writing this review the morning after eating) seem to be safe. On my take away order I noted I have a gluten allergy and the food prepared did not give me any reaction. I believe the kitchen took the necessary precautions with my note about my allergy. I will definitely be ordering from here frequently in the future. Also I should note the filling to rice ratio on the rolls were amazing, they don’t overdo the rice ratio. 10’s across the board for this sushi spot.

We love this Kibo location. We bring our kids here all the time and they love to eat the sushi here and it’s family friendly call in advance to reserve a table.

This is a hidden gem in Leslieville. Food is always fresh, delicious, full of flavour. Never had any issues. I absolutely love their selection and Toyoko IPA! Staff is always friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.

The store is pretty small but gives such a cozy ambiance. The staff are super friendly. They prepare your food from frying tempura to cutting fish rather than processing before to keep everything warm and fresh, so it may take a while to have your food arrive. Their sashimi are fresh but thin sliced. Their Wasabi is not that spicy to me.

Had a get-together with some old friends here. Had the tempura (shrimp, veggies) and gyoza appetizers. Mains were the salmon lover, spicy maki trio, and other sushi & maki sets. Miso soup and salad were included with the sets. Everything was good quality and fresh. The service and atmosphere were decent. Will recommend this place. Had an enjoyable time!
