Kibo Sushi House - Keele

I got the salmon feast promotion today and it was tremendous. Beautiful presentation as well - a nice change from the typical white styrofoam. Would be ideal to bring to a party. The wasabi was also very fluffy and smooth (like icing).

The food is super fresh and delicious! They offer a free parking lot which is also good. Highly recommend.

First time at the Keele Kibo location. They didn't offer the $6 cash & carry special. The sushi and maki rolls were made fresh to order. There are parking spots in the strip plaza. Friendly staff and this location is good for takeout instead of dining in.

The maki was so awesome, the smell, of kamikaze roll was really good and the miso tasty. Especially, staff are really friendly and helpful.

Before I start, this was my first time dining here and I want to mention this place has exceptional customer service. Initially came in with my friend to grab takeout but realized after ordering there were a few seats (very limited) at this location if you want to dine there. After receiving our takeout order we proceeded to sit in the seats by the window front. Before we could even take the first bite one of the staff came up to us and generously offered to grab us plates and some sauce for our karaage order. He even came back to offer us another order of the miso soup and salad (we had only one set from one of the daily specials we ordered) and their own soy sauce. This was above and beyond what we expected. The food was great and definitely hit the spot for my sushi craving. Everything we had was delicious. We ordered the honey garlic karaage (proportion very generous), spicy salmon/tuna special (that came with miso soup and salad), sashimi app, spicy butterfish roll, and ventured to trying one of their deep fried rolls the california roll one. Lastly it will be worthwhile to bring cash!

The sushi is good. Not much space to sit. It mostly a takeout place and it's a bit towards the higher price. Update on 2nd visit: The sushi tasted a little bit stale and the ginger was definitely stale. It kind of upset my stomach Update on 3rd visit: despite the poor quality of food last time I went again and was disappointed again. The sushi was so dry. I have never eaten dry sushi. Not sure if it was stale or just not prepared properly. Like always, the staff was unhelpful. I have decided I have to find another sushi place

This turned out to be smaller in person than we expected, but adorably so! The food at Kibo is my all time favourite. Recently, I went here with my bff and boyfriend and we ordered a bunch of their best items, including: 1. Agedeshi Tofu 2. Miso soup 3. Veg Golden Pizza 4. Spicy Chicken Karage 5. Shrimp - Crab combo platter As always, everything tasted amazing. The quantity is great. Service was perfect, sitting area was clean and windowside. Definitely going back!
