At Kibo, we believe the term hope can answer all life’s problems. From what to eat to where to eat at, Hope is your answer. Derived our name from the Japanese interpretation of Hope (希望 kibō), Kibo Sushi House was born simply because we believe greatly in hope. Hope - in the sense that if you work hard, you will always be rewarded one way or another. As we embed this belief into our restaurant, from selecting fresh, local ingredients; to cooking them with love and serving them to your table with our bright smiles; we hope that you enjoy and appreciate all that we put into your favorite dishes.

Don’t bother with this location, poor selection of fish, questionable in terms of quality and freshness. They skimp out of the ingredients for rolls. Salmon on top of the dragon roll barely covers the rice. Would pass on visiting here, other locations are so much better. Quality of this sushi is the equivalence to what you would get from a mall sushi spot. Very disappointing

Good sushi and a good lunch deal for 2 rolls and soup + salad. It got kind of busy near the end so the service slowed down but not bad!

This Kibo is “mid” and they shorted me a piece of sushi 😫. All of the other Kibos are so much better. For example. Service was slow at lunch with only two done in parties. I asked not to have the squid and substitute piece of fish instead so they just shorted me a piece of sushi! Why does Eglinton not add sesame or poppy seeds or decorate their sushi? Service is hot but mostly miss. The focus here seems take out, not dine in. So service is slow. Not a lot of seating here nor is it decorated like other locations. Fish is fresh, price is fair. Although why no lunch special? Why is Eglinton menu smaller and more limited than other Kibos? The more I think about it there are much better Midtown sushi options.

Absolutely amazing sushi quality, the salmon seems to melt in your mouth. Everything tastes so fresh, and the prices are great. The servers are all super nice and will go out of their way to make sure you have enough tissues, water, and soy sauce. Overall a great experience.

everything tasted amazing and was freshly made even though we went to get grab n go close to their closing time. they are very kind and gave us extras on the house since we purchased a lot! we couldn’t finish them all in a night, and the next morning the sushi still tasted amazing which is usually not the case for other sushi places. the salmon melted in my mouth. definitely worth the extra time we spent commuting for this location spesifically!

This place is a 10/10! The food is delicious and the service is top notch. Our server Jenn was so kind and gave us great recommendations. Her playlist has me jamming out at the table every time. It’s shrimp-ly an unforgettable experience. Miso happy to come back here any day! Oh-fish-ally my favourite sushi spot 🙌

Kibo is our favourite Sushi restaurant in the neighbourhood. The food is great (we love anything with salmon) and the service is fast and amazing! We especially loved our server Jenn and her awesome music playlist! Kindest human you’ll ever meet! You can’t go wrong with any of the sushi here and the mochi was such a yummy sweet treat. We’ll be back!

When I tried their sashimi for the first time, I was really surprised. It was super fresh and not fishy at all, which was unexpected. Usually, I find sashimi at other places a bit too fishy, but here, it was top-notch. I was seriously impressed! I think best sushi place to eat in the town. 👍👍👍👍
