Khaki Restaurant North York

We had a great time at Khaki. Our first time having Iranian food in Toronto and it was excellent. Parsa served us very well and the food was amazing . The kebabs were juicy and not overcooked. Some reviews said the meat was raw in the middle but I guess those are the kind of people who like well done steak? 🤷🏻‍♂️ we also had the stews which were very welcome on a cold winters day. highly recommended!

I recently hosted a party and had the pleasure of ordering from Khaki Restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious and of exceptional quality—every dish was flavorful and well-prepared, and it truly impressed all our guests. A special shout-out goes to Tina, who coordinated our order. She was incredibly responsive, attentive, and truly went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Her caring approach made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. I highly recommend both the restaurant and Tina’s excellent service for any event or gathering!

Ordered the breast royal chicken plate and it was pretty decent. The chicken breast was pretty bland and had some parts moist and other parts dry. The koobideh had good flavor and tasted good. The meal was pretty big and could feed 2 people. There's free parking but the parking lot is pretty packed.

We’ve been regular customers for a while, but unfortunately, like many places, their quality drops when they get busy. The same happened with Khaki Restaurant. They delivered completely raw, undercooked kebabs, and when we called to complain, the manager, Tina, who clearly lacks basic management skills, insisted that the kebab was ‘juicy.’ It’s disappointing to see that they don’t care about customer satisfaction at all. Hopefully, they’ll learn something about proper customer service.

Tried this Persian place, and the food was seriously good and big portions, great flavors, and fair prices. But the service was a bit of a mess. We waited 40 minutes, and they brought the soup after the main dish. Tables weren’t too clean, and it was super busy with all the people and online orders. Worth it if you’re cool with a chaotic vibe and just want good food.

BESTTTTT KABOB!!! I have tried many Restaurants for Kabob and this is my favourite. I drive 40 minutes just to come here Always Fresh, Hot, Delicious, and Big Portions!!!! It is always consistent and never changes. Service is outstanding Shabnam, Parmida and Shiva always prepare my food for me very quickly and with a big smile on their faces! I come here every week because It’s sooo delicious 😋 🩷 Good Job to the Staff & Management 👏👏👏 keep up the good work

Getting worse day by day. Reception attitude is the WORST! They are not welcoming at all, specifically the girl I had to deal with a few nights ago! She was extremely rude, unprofessional. The kabob I ordered was PINK! She kept insisting that this is how we serve it to everyone which is totally irrelevant. She has the mentality of feudal lord and doesn’t know the first thing about how to treat a customer! She has to learn that she cannot FORCE people to eat whatever she serves! If the customer cannot eat the raw meat, the blame is on the restaurant to serve an inedible food not the customer! The basic rule of thumb in restaurant business is to either take back the food and remake it OR refund the money. We asked for refund since she was saying the kabob meat would be PINK no matter what. However she kept saying she cannot refund! At the end she called her manager and returned the money but even that interaction was awkward because first she gave back twice as much and we said, this is more than what we paid. Then she found some cash and The quality of the food and customer service has decreased exponentially…she was even arguing with her coworker who was trying to tell her to STOP arguing! At one point she yelled at her and asked her to shut up so that she can continue her unnecessary argument! Very frustrating experience…also flies everywhere! Stay away everyone!

Every time I go to an Iranian restaurant, I regret not choosing Khaki Restaurant! Even the Richmond Hill branch is amazing. We’re not even hungry, yet your food is so delicious we can’t stop eating. Best kebab ever!
