Khaki express Restaurant

I ordered five chicken leg meals from this restaurant through Uber Eats for a gathering with guests, and it was a big disappointment. The presentation of the food was a mess, and the chicken legs were extremely dry. It was embarrassing to serve this to my guests, and I ended up having to order from another restaurant last minute. I expected much better quality for the price and wouldn’t recommend ordering from here.

I love their kobideh. Very juicy and reminds me of kebabs I had in my childhood but expect a very long wait time. No matter if they are busy or not ...their process is very lengthy to serve. Several times I tried and I never had any time waiting for pick up less than 45 minutes. But the quality of food is very good.

We’ve ordered takeout three times now and have always been impressed with the quality of the food and generous portions. The juicy koobideh kebabs and flavorful chicken leg skewers are absolutely delicious! This place has quickly become our favorite spot for takeout.

We ordered koobideh, and it was an awful experience. The meat was raw and undercooked in the middle, which is completely unsafe and unacceptable. It also tasted overly fatty and unpleasant. To make matters worse, we ended up with food poisoning after eating it. After reading other reviews, it seems there’s a pattern with their takeout food quality, particularly with koobideh being undercooked. It’s not normal for koobideh to be pink in the middle—it should be fully cooked and safe to eat. Clearly, this is an ongoing issue that doesn’t seem to have been addressed.

Do not go here, literally go anywhere else. Most importantly, the portion sizes of this restaurant is extremely small compared to other persian restaurants. Secondly they put their food in PLASTIC CONTAINERS!!!! I think we all know how bad it is…. Do u not care about your customers?? Everything is in plastic containers its embarrassing. Khaki restaurant is the closest persian restaurant to me but its safe to say im never setting foot in there ever again. Yall better read this and change some things up because there’s so many persian restaurant competitions and yall just gonna keep losing customers. Good luck management.

Great food, and great atmosphere, as the ‘express’ implies best for takeout as only a few spots inside; Koubideh and chicken skewers are top notch!

The owner always shows their warm welcoming attitude to the customers and tries to have a five star service. The quality of food in this branch is significantly better than the other one in the North York, there is almost no room for people to dine in as this is the express branch though. Try the golden couple of Kaseh Kabab and Tahdig Gheime which suffice for two people and won’t let you down!

Ordered take out. Food was tasty and had large portions. I got half salad and half rice . As you can see the 1/2 portion of rice is still a lot. Salad came in separate container. Will def. Order again!
