Kettlemans Bagel opened in Ottawa in August of 1993. When the business started, our mission was to make the best bagels you could find. By rolling, kettling, and baking traditional Montreal Bagel in a wood-burning oven using hand-picked hardwood, and maintaining an unwavering commitment to the traditional quality of the food, we have become a food institution — 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year — for over 25 years. However, tradition does not mean much if the authenticity is gone.

Cool place, nice atmosphere, open 24/7 365days a week. Friendly staff, good service, I get weirded out when I’m asked for a tip when I’m ordering food to go, bagel was okay, I was expecting more . My daughter thought it was okay too. Maybe I’ll order something else next time. Update: came back to this location, changed my rating to 5 stars because I tried the kettlemans special. Ugh, so good. I will be coming back for this specific bagel, it was fantastic! Wasn’t a fan of the TLC bagel or the BLT

I’m a fan of Montreal bagels and when this location opened I was thrilled. But over the last year, quality is declining. Prices have gone up by 50%. Surely many in this community have noticed as I have. I stopped in for a breakfast sandwich this morning. How does anyone say to themselves… “yes this egg is good to be served to a customer”. If you must get bagels, stick with just buying bulk and prepare it yourself at home.

Really enjoyed the bagels! We got the Reuben & Oven Roasted Chicken and both blown away by the quality of the bagels. Service was good and fast, atmosphere was great and very busy. Food was great as well and was a satisfying lunch. Many options to choose from! Will be back to return.

Very cool place. I like the atmosphere and vibe. It looks like old school american bagel houses. The bagels are freshly made in a wood fire oven. Everything is tasty and delicious. Staff are also nice and friendly.

My newest guilty pleasure...love the bagels so much!! Never had delicious bagels anywhere else. Bought a dozen of the limited pumpkin spice bagels with non-dairy blueberry cream cheese and enjoyed these for breakfast everyday. Tried the bagel dogs which are so perfect because the bagel bun has a crunchy texture with a balanced taste. None of the bagels (i.e., garlic, herb and cheddar, everything, pumpernickel) were oily or salty. I am working to try all the bagel sandwiches on the menu. Love this place!!

Ordered the BLT from ubereats and the lettuce was soooo brown and wilted took off the lettuce to taste an overly ripe tomato mushy and gross. Bagel was burnt the only thing edible was the bacon but even that was border line too crispy. So disappointing

First time here! You can smell the bagels when you walk in. Fantastic selection of sandwiches. We got breakfast one and a BLT. They were delicious and a good price too! I ordered two bagels on Uber eats from here. The bagels were so thin that could barely hold the stuffing inside. They tasted good but definitely not paying 38$ for two bagels(one of them combo) ever again. (Plus tip)
