Always consistent quality with Kathy’s! No complaints at all for as long as I can remember ordering from here. (Which has been for years!) The location is easy to access — parking is free, however can sometimes be tough to find open spots especially since there is a very busy Starbucks sharing the same lot. The dining room, front counter and bathrooms are always clean and neat. I’ve never seen a mess left or any kind of unsanitary conditions here. Very bright space with large windows in front, and good lighting in the bathrooms. The FOOD and the consistent friendly service is what keeps us coming back!everything I have tried off their menu is fresh, flavourful and very generous portions. The prices are more than reasonable! More food, healthier options, way better service for the same or less than fast food chains! Keep it up Kathy’s! You guys are awesome and one of the best establishments of your kind in Scarborough! Totally recommend to anyone looking for traditional diner foods, fish and chips and Greek foods.

Great value for the price paid. We visited on a Saturday night and it was extremely crowded but the restaurant did a good job of expediting orders - vibrant atmosphere with some great personalities. Ordered the chicken souvlaki dinners, a gyro on a pita, and a feta cheese poutine. The highlight of all these dishes was the lemon sauce, which was especially great in the poutine. The gyro was okay but the souvlaki dinners were super tasty. Will add this to our regular cycle of take out spots!

We have been passing this place whenever we go for coffee run and we finally went to try it. We ordered Chicken Souvlaki diner and Fish and chips. We’ve had better souvlaki, but for their price I guess you get what you pay for. Which is mid esp with prices now a days. Fish N chips was mid too, the fish has low quality taste ( you know what I mean when fish has a fishy weird taste) anyways, might come again to try the burgers base on what other people raving about it. Service was okay too, girls are friendly enough.

My go to spot for a nice burger. Reasonable prices, delicious food, what more can you ask for? This place is popular for a good reason so be prepared to LINE UP and wait for your order. Also I’ve seen Kathy working here and she seemed so kind. I saw she would give little kids little toys or juice boxes. Definitely the type of local spot I love to support!

Delicious meal, very reasonable price. I had the pork souvlaki dinner which came with a skewer of pork on Greek rice, with a good portion of salad and roasted potatoes. Also comes with a toasted bun. It was a very satisfying meal. I will definitely be back to try the homemade burger and hot homemade burger. Lots of reviews about the gravy so I will definitely try the fries with gravy too. So glad I found this hidden gem. I’m very lucky I got one of the three seats available at the place. Wish there was more seating but otherwise it was great! Edit to original post. Just tried the Homeburger and small salad. What a satisfying meal! The burger was excellent (not small or flat) and the salad was really good too. I’m so happy I found this place! I know I’m going to be a regular here. 😋

Fish and chips is just okay, didn't enjoy the taste of the batter. Would recommend the chicken souvlaki instead. Fries super bland! Make sure you ask for ketchup, salt and pepper. Seriously, they won't give it to you unless you ask for it. Prices are reasonable. Wait can be long at times to receive food so you need to have some patience.

Whenever I am in the Scarborough neighbourhood the Kathy’s Grill is one of my fav spot for in budget lunch/dinner. The food and the portion never disappoints, their chicken souvlaki plate is really good and has maintained the taste every time I have had it. The service is also very organized and one has to pay first for their order and would receive token number with the bill and its a self serve.
