I really like this place because it's generally quiet. You won't find gourmet food here - it's more like snack bar food, but it hits the spot while having a few beers. The owner is really nice, always offering suggestions of which beer to try and engaging in conversation. It's not a busy place, which for me is a plus, though I know there are people who prefer more crowded places. It's a great local neighbourhood bar if you want to go for a drink or several after work.

Had a great experience when the city finally let them open the patio! Brought my friend once or twice, sucks we went on lockdown again! I hope u guys can open up with a few outside spots once again when this is over! Till then good luck, and great job on the food you had available I really liked the chicken!

I asked Sylvia if I could get a free beer for a good review. She said no. Well, Sylvia, here's your good review anyway! Kanu is a great local with a good atmosphere, people, and stuff to do in the basement. Always a great time. Spend money here!

Very friendly and personable place. A piece of advice: try to work a little bit on serving skills and add some mains to the menu. Would be nice to have salt/pepper/napkins on the table + personal menus. maybe just go to some well established bar/restaurant and pay attention what they have on the tables and how they serve customers

Very nice bar with pool table and foosball table in the basement. Great clientele and service! This bar will be my weekly go-to place from now on:)
