Call 20 minutes ahead to ask about availability of seating as this restaurant does not take reservations. If you are so lucky as to dine in at this quaint restaurant you are greeted with nothing but bright smiles from the staff. The restaurant itself is a cozy and eclectic space, yet radiates a vibrant atmosphere with the people dining in. The food is nothing short of delicious, I highly recommend the Latkas & Gravlax if you are fond of fish, plus it’s a decent meal size. The menu is full of various different German cuisine all as authentic as you can get outside of Germany itself, which I can testify to, so if that’s what you’re seeking you will not be disappointed- but be ready to wait because good food takes time, and there’s no exceptions for this restaurant. The bar was beautiful and the drinks solid. The dessert menu was good, short, but out of the options I recommend the Apple Strudel, it’s hard to find a good Strudel, but the search ends with this one. My company and I got one dish each, a main and a dessert with around 2 drinks each and it rang into around the 60-80$ range for price. All in all this was an excellent dining experience and a lovely little restaurant I will be recommending to anyone in the area, and I will definitely be coming back here on my next visit.

My experience today at KaiserHaus was one of the most notable restaurant experiences I've had all year. Michelle, our server, did a fantastic job walking us through their wine list. She poured me a sample of Drea's Riesling, which was simply stunning. My mind was set on the Dornfelder Rosé created by Andrea Kaiser and I was pleasantly surprised by its quality and characteristics. For my meal, I ordered the Gravlax with latkes and was blown away by the quality. The acidity in the pickled onions, paired with the sour cream and cured salmon was truly notable. I would recommend ordering the Riesling with the Gravlax, I just couldn't stop thinking about Canada's only Dornfelder Rosé; I simply had to try it. After the meal, it had me thinking of the Kaiser family and their contribution to the Niagara food & drink scene - truly remarkable stuff. I really look forward to coming back for a Sachertorte and red wine. Chapeau!

This is hands down the best German restaurant in the whole country. The food and service is spectacular. It was our first time in this town and we were recommended to go here by a local and I’m extremely happy we ended up going here. This is going down as one of my favourite restaurants of all time. I can’t wait to be back and try more of the food on the menu!

It was one of those rare, glorious autumn days where the air was crisp but not cold enough to steal your soul. The kind of day that makes you think, "Yes, the world hasn’t completely gone to hell just yet." I was walking along the park in Port Dalhousie, arm-in-arm with an attractive lady who could have stepped out of some wild dream, when we stumbled upon the KaiserHaus. A charming little place with just the right blend of old-world allure and modern civility. We wandered in, drawn by its promise like moths to a flame, and were greeted by a warm, welcoming staff that had the air of people who actually gave a damn. The interior? Immaculate. You could tell they put thought into every corner. And that patio—ah, yes—quaint and perfect for people-watching. The kind of spot where you can lose hours just watching the world spin by. They even had blankets, just in case the autumn chill tried to creep in, but on this perfect day, they weren't needed. Now, let’s talk food. My date opted for the goulash, a bowl so rich and hearty it could’ve revived a dead man. I, on the other hand, went for the schnitzel sandwich and kettle chips. Pure genius on a plate. Both dishes hit the mark, perfectly complementing the fall atmosphere like a well-played hand of cards. And as for how the day ended? Well, let’s just say that the food wasn’t the only thing that exceeded expectations. KaiserHaus delivered, in more ways than one.

This is a very quaint restaurant close to the water. The service was excellent and the waitress, a native of the area, was very helpful. The food was incredibly delicious. We shared the schnitzel and it was more than enough. We also had a pretzel. So soft and delicious. 5 star from beginning to end. Forgot to photograph the food.

We dined here a couple of weeks ago and it was the best meal we have had in quite awhile. The food was perfection, the atmosphere is lovely, service is so friendly and professional. They have a varied cocktail menu, we tried the Hugo Spritz and the Gin Daisy, both SO good, like summer in a glass. For dinner we both had the pork schnitzel plate with warm potato salad and pickled red cabbage. Everything was delicious, tender pork, very fresh ingredients. Dessert was warm apple strudel with fresh whip cream, which was to die for. I asked if they could just bring me one to my house every night for dessert, it was so good. We will definitely be back soon!

The offers a true European bistro feel with excellent food focused on Germany and Austria and a wonderful Niagara centric wine list. We had the Schnitzel sandwich and Schnitzel plate (with German Potato Salad) followed by Sachertorte for dessert with a local Niagara Rose. All were delicious. Service was superb and when the wine we chose was out of stock, they brought us a sample of another for us to try before substituting it. Well with visiting when in Port Dalhousie.

We had a delightful dinner this Saturday before a show in Niagara. We were early so happy to have a spot. The place is so quaint and cozy. The service was impeccable with kind people. It’s more on the European pace than NorthAm which we enjoyed as this reminded us of home. Had the pretzel. So light and tasty with the melted cheese that almost tasted like fondue. Got the beet salad and the schnitzel plate. Both were delicious! The meat was thin and the breading very refined. Loved the Sacher Torte as well. The cream balanced out the chocolate so well! it was decadent. We will be back!
